the chicken came first because that was the first thing u said.
and my secound answer is:
when god first put adam and eve here were they babys or adults?
they were adults so i say the chicken came first and then met a rooster and had an egg.

i'll approach this from a scientific AND religious view
scientific: we wouldn't have a "chicken egg" unless we had a "chicken" first, correct? because, there's not going to be some type of bird that lays an egg and all of a sudden what comes out is a chicken right? because that one isn't a chicken, so therefore the egg didn't have a chicken in it
religious: why would God create an egg that didn't have the proper animal to hatch it? a chicken is the one that not only lays the egg, but hatches it... so what's the point of an egg without a mother?
