Okay so my friend burnt the side of my cheek with her crimper on monday night! The next day when i went to go shower i noticed it and when i went to touch it there was like a thin layer of brownish green gooey stuff. Well it stuck to my finger and pulled of as soon as i touched it and the burn started bleeding! It scabs up but falls off all the time on its own and starts bleeding again. The green goo only happened once more like twenty minutes after the first time but i wanted to know if this is normal??

you're going to have to give it a good scrub. it'll hurt somewhat but you'll get all the burnt tissue off and then it will start healing. you'll probably want some antibiotic cream such as neosporin to help keep it from becoming infected and to minimize scarring. good luck.

EVERYONE is wrong except EMT!
You are OK, but you need to care for that burn.
Scrub it gently but thoroughtly in shower or bath every night.
Apply an antibiotic ointment three times a day until skin is healing over. Keep 'moist' with the ointment.
Do not let it 'dry up'.
Do not clean with alcohol [ yow! ] or full strength hydrogen peroxide.
Do not let it tan this year - new scars can develop extra melanin, causing a darker scar.

sure, it rather is totally generic. we could consistently be 'going' prevalent, a minimum of. Cheese, bananas, and different meals can 'end you up'. If we don't 'pass' then we can get bloated, cramps, pains, nausea. ingesting raisin bran daily or oatmeal can help flush you out and keep you feeling extra valuable. i think our bodies have a tricky time digesting meats like beef and it continues to be interior for a lengthy time or perhaps starts off to rot or petrify.

I AGREE WITH NURSE SUSAN AND EMT!! don't let that wound dry out! scabs are bad in most situations. just keep it clean, warm, and moist. a triple antibiotic is ok, neosporin for example is a great one. green/brown goo is never normal! it signals a red flag for infection! keep it simple: clean and moist.

sounds like its infected. the brown gooey green stuff is pus. put some neosporin type of medication on it and put a bandage over it during the day. do not wash your face in the area but you could tiny bit of rubbing alcohol on it if you're brave enough. let it dry out at night when you sleep, if its still bleeding at night you can try putting gauze on it.

MIMI IS WRONG!!! Rubbing alcohol will burn! Bubbly water is hydrogen peroxide. either will help clear up the infection. go with the bandage during the day and open at night.

a very key piece of advise here is to keep the wound open to air out at night...it must breathe and dry out to keep out infection
