Why do i make the same mistakes over and over again? i try so hard to stay clear of things that will hurt me,but for some reason im drawn to the pain...also,this is a really hard question to categorize!

you know, in times in life like when you are in danger like before moments an accident happens or an earthquick or a shipwreck .. .. you seek help from God without paying atention
to his name and without paying attention to the religious things you have learned .
it is the most natural and clear way to feel God .
but in all those moments we connect to the same good god
not one time to the first figure of trinity and another time to the second.. ... . .. .
so we connect to One God. the creator
then how can some people say there are 3 gods or god is consisted of 3 parts or god has 3 forms or things like this ?
to me it is so obvious and natural that there is one God.
the one god that I feel with my heart in the times of extreme pain or dificult time and I seek help with all my heart from him.

Most moslems agree that Al Queda is not a typical form of Islam. Why not toss it away from Islam and label it a cult? There have been many Christian groups which have been labeled this way. Shouldn't the media do this?

It would be a good way to set the people in Al Queda aside. Why let a cult tarnish the whole religion?

The Jim Jones group and the Wako, Texas groups were labeled 'cults' if I remember right. There must be others who were labeled this way too. If there were Christians acting the way Al Queda has, wouldn't the media and political leaders call that group a cult?

It's time to start calling Al Queda what it really is.

A man finds a magic lamp which he rubs and a genie comes out. The genie tells the man that he can have three wishes but whatever he wishes for his ex wife will get double of that wish. So the man wishes for a big house, his wish is granted but his ex wife gets two big houses. Next he wishes for a billion quid. Again, his ex wife gets double this. would his disciples die for him? All his disciples died violent deaths when they could lied or stopped preaching to save their lives. what i am trying to say is thousands maybe millions have died for His namesake. i believe because i've seen things that can't be explained if He isn't who He says He is. i have seen blood stop flowing from wounds that doctors couldn't fix at the calling of His name. if this reads like an attacking question it's not meant to be. it is just an open question looking for honest explainations and opinions.

I have a car that my 18 year old son drives daily that is in my and a banks name because it has a lien on it. I know that I can not transfer the title to him since it has a lien on it, but is there something that I can do to protect myself in the event of a hit and run etc? The reason I ask is because he is getting ready to move out and I want to him to be responsible of his actions, not me.

What is a personality for?

All animals have them... And i understand that it is our own 'Personal Identity'

But what actually is it that causes us to have a personality and why?

If there was no after life, and nothing existed after death (memories, experiences gone),
surely we wouldnt've had that personality in the first place if it'll inevitably became non-exsistent for all eternity?

does that mean god exisists and a personality is our proof?

It could be that you loose your exsistence but not for eternity, it would have to come back to play at some point if what you are doing now could exsist at all.

Alot of dream of driving or racing ultra-expensive, super high-performance cars. But how how safe are they. At 200+, no airbags can really save you (see crash data stats), but even at street-legal struts, are these cars (airbagless cars like Bugatti Veyron 16.4's, Saleen S7's w/ integrated space frames, Hennessey Vipers,etc.) safe? Flashy is fine, but dismembered is not.

Just a quandary...
