His Doctor says he was steroid free and came to the doctor's office the day of the murders.
He (the doctor) also said that Chris has been arguing with his wife about about the care of his son, who was mentally retarded.

Yes they found steroids in his home but they were legal
And his son had slight retardation which is medicaly called fragile x syndrome.
I seriously doubt that vince had anything to do with it even tho he had to drop his "death of vince" story line he wudnt drop such a huge story line just cus of that nd he said sorry for the tribute show so this shows he had nuthing to do with it

it is said that Benoit visited his doctor on the day that his wife and son were murdered.
it is understood that their son was suffering from a mental illness and needed constant care and Benoit's wife was concerned as to how they would go on with his treatment.
i am assuming there was a problem between them cos of this and the fight got ugly and Nancy was killed.
later Benoit realized that with Nancy gone and with him probably going to jail his son will not be taken care of and hence decided to kill his son. and later committed suicide

RIP benoit..... he was the man i realy will miss him. i dont think anyone knows yet cos he didnt even leave a note but vince is an bad man and i realy do think he had a part to play in it

My guess was he was stressed out and killed his wife for an unknown reason and according to wwe.com his son had a fragile x syndrome and because of this he could of thought that his son wouldn't be able to handle not having a mother or father ( jail or dead) so he killed him possibly thinking of his future.
