I've been invited to an around the clock bridal shower for a conservative friend of mine. My time is 12 midnight and I have no idea what to get the bride. I was thinking about a robe and slippers or maybe a nice blanket, but I'm not sure. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!

Everyday I come here ... and everyday I see narrow minded questions and answers ... people who slate other people for their beliefs and for their sexuality ... dont you think that people should be able to think and feel however they want to without being made to feel wrong or dirty? ... I am a 30 year old lesbian and have been subjected to so much abuse and narrow mindedness since I came out 13 years ago .. and when I see other people being slated and the unfeeling comments that some people make here it grates right on my nerves ... I guess I must be one of the few people here that think about how other people feel and will react to certain narrow minded comments ... people are who they are ... they are entitled to believe and feel what they want without being belittled for it ... and be subjected to homophobic and narrowmindedness ... come on guys this is the 21st century after all!!!!!!!!!

I always colour very pale blonde. have had lowlights in that were supposed to be honeys/caramel and make hair warmer - have turned out ash and dull. can i re colour my hair with normal colour to get them out ???

I am a bridesmaid in my good friend's wedding that is coming up in October. The maid of honor asked me to host the bridal shower at my new home. I do not want to do this because the groom's family a good majority (including his mother) have been to jail, have constant problems with the law, and they aren't the classiest people. My husband and I don't socialize with these types of people due to the fact he is in law enforcement and I know my husband will get mad if I ask him.
What is an appropriate way to turn down the maid of honor's request?

i vote for Dr. Dre, Tupac, Biggie, Ice Cube, and Master P..
I look at it like this, at one point Master P revolutionized the rap game by owning and running everything in his record company and being a pioneer of the south.

There are other people who would get honorable mention and get put in for the next year, Wu-Tang Clan, Bone, Jay-Z, Nas, Rakim....but that would be my start

I'm going to a "once in a blue moon" theme party on Saturday. We were told to bring a drink (alcohalic) that is blue. I was thinking of making blue jello shots, but that seems like a lot of work.
