I hate the word 'humongous'. When I was a kid, I remember a strict English teacher (my favorite all-time teacher) reprimanding my best friend for using that word all the time. She said it wasn't a word, since it wasn't in the dictionary back then. Now that it's a word, I still don't use it.

hump? really? in all contexts or just the sexual?

i really don't HATE any word, i'm not fond of words like anus or laxative simply because of their connotations.

in fact, i really don't like the word "hate" a whole lot, either. but again, just because of the meaning that is put upon it, the word itself is just dandy.

**EDIT**

ooh! oooh! how about when real estate agents call sliding glass doors "sliders", that grates on me... but again, it isn't the word it's the agents. poop.

I honestly hate the word 'random' because it's used to describe myself by everyone I know and it gets on my nerves...not to mention whenever I say that I hate the word random, everyone says it to me 70 times more than they would usually say it. It seriously makes me cringe...

The N-word

It's all over today's "R&B" if you can use that term for the crap put out nowadays. People fought hard to free their children and grandchildren from that word and look how they act...

I know it's not exactly a word, but there's a brand of men's antipersperant called "Mitchum."

I hate that. It's almost embarrassing to say.
