You know Indian caste system was based on employament how ever made a varna system by Whites.Since White people are the only race so far in this world that are obsessed with their skin.Other cultures have their own form of divisions like fight between different tribes in Africa,Arab sectarian violence which is based on religion.Only one race have skin obsession and divide people based on skin color and that are White people.Yes Blacks are facing a form of caste system, and have always faced caste system from the true creators of Varna(color) based caste system, the evil caste system. And this will continue unless blacks do something about it.Chances are blacks won't be able to do anything since they are a minority and might become victims of violence from whites like what happened to Bosnian Muslims.

It is much worse. Indian caste system had some background for the work environment of the socity to create expertise in various work fields. That is..... There were agricultural experts scientists architects and doctors. all were of different castes. This caste system changed its face only in late 17th century when there were some people who miss used it. That gave it a bad name. But the Americans just hav hatred towards the Black. Theres is stupid.

I think if you mean that black people are generally not equal in the US, then that is not the same as the indian caste system. The indian caste system is made up of groups of indians who's roots are different i.e kenya, india etc, if that make's any sense.

It's 2007 not 1957. Everyone has the same opportunities available to them. You can say women are not equal to men. Also, it is not a Black issue. Mexicans, Chinese, Polish, are all in the same boat as blacks.
Have a choice, take advantage to the possibilities that are out there for you, or just keeping using history and the past as an excuse instead of moving on like everyone else is doing.

By law, black people ARE "equal" in the USA. However, the practical application of this is not as "pure". There are places where they are treated as inferior, and there are places where nobody even notices and its no problem at all. This is different from the caste system in India, but there are similarities.

Why compare India and USA anything bad is bad. Period. Whether it is equivalent or not is no justification for bad things happening in the world. And anyways, it exists in different forms everywhere. Indians call it caste system, someplace else it is called Apartheid, whatever but it exists nevertheless.

We need to forget about color and religion. Our country is in trouble. Americans come in all shapes colors and sizes, but.......we are Americans. This is what should bond us together against the world. Do you really think any other country gives a damn what happens to America? Heck, they are praying for our death. Lets focus on Americans, of all colors.

Listen........this is America and our country should put Americans first in everything. Immigrants should not have any rights here at all, lets take care of our fellow Americans first. America is NOT the lifeboat for the rest of the world. We dont owe anyone a damn thing except to our veterans.

Other countries dont even allow immigration........there is no real reason we need immigrants anymore. Let the people from other countries build up their own country, dont run away and try to hide in America. America was built at a price of blood.......most immigrants today are cowards in their own country, thats why they try to hide here. Americans are willing to die for our country, but the immigrants obviously would rather let someone else do their fighting and sacrifice for them.

There are PLENTY of Americans ready to work for a decent wage. We dont need immigrants. The H1B visa program is a scam by big business, dont believe for a second they cant find any qualified Americans to take a job.

Its time we took back our country and maybe even changed the form of government we have. We are no longer represented fairly, the representation is for the wealthy and special interests.

The Americans in our country come in all colors and religions. There is no race involved. What IS involved is simple......this is OUR country and we dont want anymore damn immigrants........got it?

People, we built this country and many of us shed blood for our country, we deserve to have a home, secure from foreign invaders. An illegal immigrant is a foreign invader.

America is in a death spiral. We cant carry the weight of every crybaby immigrant that wants into our great country.

We need to put a MORATORIUM on all immigration, until every single American is taken care of first.

AMERICANS FIRST........then..maybe...a few immigrants here and there.

We Americans May be closer than we think..........to that special time...........time to lock and load

Not equal to Indian caste system but yes blacks are discriminated. The reason why blacks are facing discrimination is because blacks in america are of african origin and they were slaves in british america,,,,after america got independence american constitution declared everyone equal and everyone citizen of America. Upper class people (whites) got angered at this and discrimination was outburtst of society not willing to accept those blacks. Now adays similar to India's case you dont see blacks subjected to discrimination but it exists under surface and still has subtle existence.

They are not treat as equal because white people don't believe there is still racism in America. White people don't think there is racism because the don't have to face it everyday. The out of site out of mind mentality needs to stop then we can all start working together building an America that treats everyone as equal.

They have divided this country by race, It is called White, Black, Hispanic, Asian, Native American etc. You can draw your own line with your experience.
