Since you are a beautiful woman I'm sure you get hit on all the time, but that is just creepy. If he opens his mouth again you should kick him in the nutts, mace him, then stab him in the leg.

Ahh girls, last time I checked "macing someone" was for when you feared a direct PHYSICAL attack, not when someone said something you didn't like. If the latter was OK, there would be a few people around where I am in the habit of making bad puns or saying "Hot enuff for ya?" etc, who would be legally blind by now.

Also, I didn't mean nuffin by it. If you can BE a sex goddess then you should lie back and accept it. An' I don' mean no disrespect by dat, neider. Come to think of it, macing all mere males in sight who bore or irritate you is just the sort of thing a sex goddess would do. Go, Wonder Woman, you can hogtie me with your magic lariat anytime. Can I go for a joyflight on your glass airyplane?

Look, if you're at work and he's a client, you obviously cannot mace the guy. Mention it to your supervisor like an adult. That kind of commentary is inappropriate, but if you take up on it yourself to berate the man, you're gonna get yourself fired. Your supervisor can either address the issue for you with the client, or give you leave to tell him what you think of it, and that covers your butt. Think about things before you up and do them.

If he's a client, he isn't a random guy. I would have immediately replied, "I'll check with her and get back to you," and when he said I smelled good, I would move away from him. Later, I would mention the remarks to my boss.
If there are rumors about that you're a sex goddess, then you have to tolerate the remarks.

What rumors?
its funny, if a guys good looking than he's a hopeless romantic
if he's ok looking than he's just a creep
but if he's an ugly mofo than he's a stalker
I like the way women peg us sometimes.
and then after playing games with us you get defensive if we are persistent in pursuing you
just tell us to screw off in the first place and you won't have any problems.
ha ha ha ha
yeah, you caught me
I'm the client you're working for.
How ya like me now?

Well, macing him isn't the best plan, and since he's a client there are probably issues with just telling him to F*** Off.
I'd recommend not responding, and if it continues, tell your boss. If it's made you uncomfortable already, tell the boss now. It's the boss' job to reprimand the client, not yours.

He was just testing the waters, seeing how you would react. It is possible he just doesn't know how to talk to women, especailly those classified as a "Sex Goddess." Don't give him an excuse to ask you out, but don't be rude, he probably isn't trying to be. I think humor can go a long way to disarming situations like this.

1) when you say "client" that pretty much makes him less "random", though he may be pretty randy.

2) Mace is not a great client management tool.

3) perhaps you could share some rumors.

I saw this funny *** skit on MAD TV that was EXACTLY like this...but, funnier obviously. This guy was a complete ugly dork and was hitting on this lady at work, she instantly starts screaming "sexual harassment" and he's in big trouble. Skit forwards to a new day where the dorky guy just walks by her and she screams it out again. Next skit, new day, and now the guy runs straight to his desk and watches another guy [attractive] come over and start asking her to dinner and grabbing her boobs and rubbing his crotch in front of her...the whole time she is smiling and giggling saying "yes".

Just tell the guy that you think his remarks are creepy and you are not interested in anything with him, "just to clear the air." If he does anything like this again, then get your manager involved.
