Honestly, why does anyone think that someone would CHOOSE to put themselves in an alienated minority? I'm looking for an actual real answer here. Don't get me wrong, I'm gay and proud and I have nothing to be ashamed of, and I have no desire to be anything else. But looking from an outsiders perspective. Why would someone say, "hey that group is persecuted and mocked, where can I sign up"????? Or "hmmm, how can I narrow my dating pool down to only 10-15% of the population? I know I'll be gay!!" It makes no sense. It's not logical. I know, I'm about to get a lot of bigoted, bible quoting haters in here who are going to try to berate and belittle me and tell me I'm a demon but I don't care. If I can find one person who can give a succint and intelligent answer to this question, it would be worth it. But you can't because there isn't one. It all extends from prejudice and fear of the unknown and archaic religious beliefs that don't allow for scientific fact. We're born gay!!!

this might sound bad, but I never knew what a bad person I was until i started driving. I don't feel like that until I get in my car, then I just scream and yell and cuss people out. And lately I've become a racist driver too. I have plenty of friends outside of my race and even memebers of my family are all mixed up, but it's just when it comes to driving, things just come pouring out of my mouth and I just can't control it. And I think that one day I might get out of my car and hurt somebody, like seriously kick somebody's butt. Like yesterday, I was driving going like 80 on the street, and the speed limit there is like 50, but this car came out of nowhere and started tail gating me and honking his horn and flipping me off and stuff and cussing, so I just slammed on my breaks and started going like 25. and he just started backing way up off of me. I'm like the nicest person anyone can know, but when i get into my car i just totally change. i feel like such a bad person.

I am in 8th grade and was labled above average intellegence
I have asperger syndrome and am homeschooled. I have a problem grasping new math/grammer concepts, and once i have them it takes alot for me to remember them.
For history and science: I have a horrible time in these subjects. I cant remember the dates or names.
I have horrible organizational skills and i avoid schoolwork because it is so hard for me. I am also a perfectionist when it comes to writing (i love to write storys but mostly type them)

My light went off last week and I took it to a VW dealership. They said there was a loose spark plug wire and got that replaced. My car was shaking every minute on the way there. All was well for about five days. Then the problem came back. The car shakes consistently again whenever I'm braking long enough. When I accelerated twice to get on the freeway, the light went on and off. I'm just so frustrated how this runs my life. My car is a VW Jetta 2002. Can anyone help?

I own a fitness center and I'd like to understand how much my treadmills are costing to operate.

Each is 120 volts and 15 amps. Does this mean that each is consuming 1.725 Kw per hour and therefore 41.4 Kw per day (we're open 24 hours).

Or, is each consuming some nominal amount of power when not in use and then more when someone is using it.

Finally, if it consumes more power when someone is on it, does it consume more power the faster someone walks/runs and the more that person weighs (because the treadmill is "working harder" at higher speeds)?

Bonus points are give for helping me calculate an exact number if we assume the avg treadmill has a 180 pound person walking/running at 5 mph (out of 15 max) for an average of 5 hours a day :)

How do prehistoric beasts figure into the whole creationism side of the creation v. evolution argument. Some people take the Adam and Eve story quite literally, but I want to know where things such as dinosaurs fit into the whole scheme of things. Were humans created as an afterthought, since we are one of the youngest species on the planet? This is not an attack, I just am interested to see what people think of this.

I live in London and have been looking for a flat, but many I have viewed have caused me problems because of very small bathrooms, too many/tricky stairs which I can't cope with because of my sight and other physical impairments.
My local authority won't advise as they only deal with council tenants (which I'm not), and even my local CAB haven't a clue, so I thought maybe one of you might know of an advice service

First I will say upfront I am a Conservative.
Second I got to see the Movie early because I am Certified "Mystery Shopper" and got paid to watch it.
There will be fun for both Repubs. and Dems.

Dems can blast Repubs because it was under Nixon that HMO's truly started.
Repubs can blast Dems because he reveals Dems get more money from Healthcare companies than Repubs to prevent a change in our Healthcare system. Hillary, mother of "Universal Health care" gets the 2nd Most money from Healthcare companies of anyone in Congress or senate.
