I know smoking is unhealthy full stop so dont give me all the risks of smoking, but i was just wondering which ones are the best the have?

My Fiance and I are planning on getting a convertible crib. it has 4 stages crib, toddler bed, daybed, and full sized bed. However we plan on having another child sometime within the next 2-3 years so we will need another crib then. It is a good idea to just buy the crib and use it and then when the new baby comes to buy another crib or should we get a cheaper one that doesn't convert and save it for the new baby and buy a regular bed for our other child?

My girlfriend hates her dad, with good reason. I think I know the answer but: He says that there is some right that he has to see her every other weekend. I think thats bullshit but is it?

Most who believe in God feel that the world is unfolding as God sees fit, and that he has a master plan. For example (and JeanMarie, you inspired this question), a parent of an autistic child might pray for a better tomorrow for her child by asking for a miracle healing, or possibly a cure for the disease altogether.

If said parent is asking for something other than what God has intended, doesn't this go against God's so-called master plan? There are numerous real-life examples I could use, but I think most of you are intelligent enough to see where I am going with this.

Long question but want to give as much info as I can-so back in Jan. cut my finger. Had to go to ortho surgeon out of network on my ins. Signed waiver that I'd give them any checks I got form insurance. Gave 2 totaling $2500. In May they sent me a nasty statement billing for the remainder so I called and told them the truth--I hadn't gotten another check. They told me on the phone they were sorry, I shouldn't have been billed and they'd write off the remaineder.

2 days later a check for 5 grand showed up. I held it in my bank for 3 weeks, presumably waiting for any further bill from the surgeon's office. Since I didn't get one I put the money toward bills.

Yesterday I received notice that I missed 2 certified letters from District Court. They're suing me for breach of contract.

I can pay the debt, about 100 bucks a month. Beyond calling the surgeon's office to work it out do I have any other recourse?

I don't say this just in the sense of yay drugs duh!

I say this in that, if drugs were legalised it probably wouldn't be long until it became another business market, would this really be a bad thing?
If drugs were being sold then generally they'd be monitered etc similar to food stuffs\alcohol\ciggarettes, which would lead to the drugs being controlled so that foreign ingredients would not be present (i.e. talc powder in coke for arguments sake)

the government would earn revenue as they'd probably be taxed in a similar manner current alcohol and ciggerettes.
the drugs would be avaliable to those who wanted them, the cloak and dagger aspect would be removed, no dodgy deals with shiffty types.
and the drugs would be quality regulated, which would really make them safer.

So, would it really be that bad an idea to legalise drugs?

I saw some answers where these girls said their period "stops" when they go in the pool!!!! OMG, what morons. Don't they realize they are still bleeding and the water just washes their blood away and everybody else is swimming in water with their blood in it????

I'm looking to sell my car shortly, however in the 4 years I've had it, I've become rather accustomed to having CD controls on my steering wheel! Is this something which has to be built in while the car is in production, or is it possible to pay to have it fitted in a car which doesn't have them?

Much as I'd love to buy a brand spanking new car and have it to my spec, I just can't afford to (it's about £4k beyond my budget!), so I have to buy used - but there don't seem to be many used Toyota Yaris' for sale with the CD controls on the steering wheel - probably because people like them so much and don't want to sell them! However there are a fair few for sale without the CD controls on the steering wheel, so I'm wondering if it's possible to buy one of them and have them fitted to the car.

If yes, any idea how much it would cost to do?

(I am selling a bright green new style Nissan Micra - I hate it's shape and the colour, so no suggestions of "just keep the car you have!")
