how to turn TFT off on my dvd player?

i have a mintek dvd player. and in manual, it says with TFT off.. it can last for 4 hours of playback time. but idk how to turn it off? help? it doesn't say anything about it in a manual!!

TFT is the display ... you want the display turned off? On my player, the display turns off automatically when you close the case.
