I saw some answers where these girls said their period "stops" when they go in the pool!!!! OMG, what morons. Don't they realize they are still bleeding and the water just washes their blood away and everybody else is swimming in water with their blood in it????
Who else is going to think twice about going into a swimming pool next time? I feel sick.

I don't see anywhere that these girls WERE NOT wearing a tampon. But if they aren't then that kind of yucky but there's thousands of microscopic items swimming around in pool water anyway, not to mention, mucus from nostrils and other self lubricating orfaces, sweat, skin cells, and if the person did not clean themselves so properly after to going to the john, ha ha. A few red blood cells are the least of pool goers problems.

I completely agree. I don't know where these people get their information! Nothing stops a period.
Next time I am thinking about going swimming I'm going to see who is in the pool first.

Yes I agree they need to use tampons. Although the water pressure does keep the blood inside but right when you get out of the water there will be blood everywhere so it's not smart at all. Luckily I have a pool at my house so I don't have to swim in a public pool with who knows what in it.

I agree-the girls who think that are idiotic and un-informed.

As for thinking twice about swimming in a pool - as long as you don't swallow the water, swimming in a pool should involve no second thoughts.

Some ladies have this experience and that is when they start doing exercise or they start doing a form of physical activity, their period stop but only when they are doing the activity. Once they stop doing it, it will come back again.
