i have always known more calories out vs more clories in to loose weight. Why does my personal trainer tell me to keep my heart rate in the fat burning zone? im not buring as much calories because im not working as hard as if i kept it in the cardio zone. can someone please tell which is better.

I buy the SimpleStyle things where it gives u the cut outs of the dress/shirt/pants ect. I'm 13 and i want to start sewing and making my own clothes(buying the simplestyle format though)

is it hard by had or machine?
after doing it a few times will i get the hang of it?
how much do machines cost?

any other tips are more then welcomed!!!


I want to make gifts of sewing one day.

So last night we had a party and about 2:00 when all but about 15 people had already left the cops showed up. My buddy who left as they pulled in called me so i went outside to meet them before they could knock on the door. They give me the normal keep it down/start sending people home speach and i agree. They said if they have to come back them i would get a noise citaton. Then one cop asks if i mind if he went inside and looked around. Knowing my rights I said no he can't. He asked again in another way and I once again told him he did not need to. He became upset and told me to get my ID cus now they were gonna write me a noise citation.

So they wrote it up its like $100 no big deal but it just seems wrong that the only reason I got it was because i used my 4th amendment right to deny warrentless search.

Also I've always been told that when they come out for noise you get a warning the first time and IF THEY HAVE TO COME BACK, you get written up. This was their first visit.

he or she is killed, usually by a family member. MUSLIMS----how do you explain this? And how do you explain honor killings---killing a female family member for an inproper sexual affair, or even if she is raped. If you all keep claiming your religion is not evil like we think, how do you explain all this. And please--- no "Allah knows best" or death threats towards me. That only reinforces the view that I am trying to change.

What should i ask for?

My room is really kiddish, and i have always had a white room my whole life. My curtains and bedspread match and have little cartoon girls which i picked out when i was in grade 3. My room is not my age and really needs a change.

Or should i ask for a cell phone. I am going to high school this fall. I would just use it to phone , but i wouldn't use it alot, because most of my friends do not have cell's. But i still want a cell.

I am stuck, which one would be a better choice?

My client is 60 days past due on their account with me on one of there properties that I do work for. This property happens to be my biggest account with the most expenses. They owe me over 40K. According to the people who work there we are not getting paid becacause someone failed to turn in the invoices to the lein holder (aka the bank) who cuts the checks for vendors as well and now we are not getting paid for another 30 days. What I would like to do is speak directly to the bank who is the lein holder and and make sure that these people are not just pulling the wool over my eyes. However, of course, my clients do not wish to release that info to me. I also think that if I advise the bank that I will be contacting my attorney to place a lein on the property for non-payment they may be more apt to go ahead and issue the payment. I tried the appraisal district sites but all the info is from 2006 they sold out this year to the company that I work for. I am desperate at this point.

4 year classical society member, Certamen winner
4 year FBLA member
4 years of CSF
4 year youth library volunteer
3 years of mock trial, best witness
4 years and 3 years of latin and attic greek, respectively
IB diploma
780 on math IIC 770 on Latin and a 700 on chemistry
2100 on SAT reasoning
1 of only 3 greek ib students in america
I've had two years in both chem and physics
I have a cumulative gpa of 4.8 weighted and 4 unweighted
over 200 community service hours
a school-year tutoring job and a summer office job
first generation to attend college and i have two cousins who currently attend Harvard


What else do you think I need, or what should I improve on, or am I just nowhere near close enough to getting in. ANY SUGGESTIONS would be very appreciated.
