i dont know how the weayher is were u live but here it is hot when we go bak and i wouldnt wear long sleeves. i dont like the striped shirt with the pants mabey a plian yellow shirt instead and mabey u shuld wear somethin other than sweat pant bermudas mabey some cute jeans of jeann bermudas. at my old school (im goin to high school this year) we had to wear stuff to the knees but if ur school isnt like that then wear a cute skirt or cute shorts. i will make some out fits>>

I like both of the pieces seperately, but I don't think they go together. See, the shorts are casual, beach, let's-go-hang-out kind of shorts. The shirt, however, is a little less laid back (although also adorable!) The shorts would go well with a cute tee or something. The sweater should go with something more like jeans. They're totally different kinds of cloth, and I don't think they match very well.
I don't think the outfit is too laid back, I just don't think the pieces go together.
Like I said, though, both pieces are very cute, just not together. Does that help?

OK the top is adorable but you need shorts that are not so casual. I actually have those shorts and I only wear them to the gym. Try some capris.

a lot of people are worrying about what to ware on the first day of school its in a month and a half live up summer to the fullest cuz school is going to be up again and you'll be very much anticipating the long awaited summer, lol, the outfit is a freshing burst of color but i dont think the colors match up, but with a diffrent bottom the tops gonna be slamming :) good luck

That'd be cute except the shorts are a bit iffy since they're cloth shorts. I think the top would go better with shorts that are more structured (if that makes any sense) instead of what looks like workout shorts.

The outfit together is very cute, but I think you should do a different pair of shorts. Those are too laid back and not quite for back to school outfit. Try a different pair of shorts. But the outfit would look cute for on the weekend.

I really don't agree about the shorts first of all. I think you should wear jeans and maybe a henley with short sleeves. I don't recommend the long-sleeve because it will probably be hot and you can bring along a sweater if you wish. Good Luck!:-)

I personaly dont like it because you are wearing a sweater ( i have seen those sweaters in real life at the store) and some beach laid back shorts and to me it looks HORRIBLE for first day of skoo! sorry just being honost!

You have bad taste. It doesn't match and it wont work. Sorry. The top is cute though but it wouldn't go right with the shorts. What about white shorts?

Both cute, but not together - unless you're going to a clam bake.
The shorts are good for the beach - or painting a house.
