Okay, my female roommate is nagging me about this. I'm a guy. Couple months ago, we went to whole foods and she got 2 bags of groceries and I got 1 bag of groceries. We had to walk back to the bus stop, about 9 blocks and I just carried my bag. She'd like, the man's supposed to carry the woman's stuff! Everybody be driving by and thinking that guy's an asshole cause the woman's carrying two bags and he only has one.

So, I'm like, don't buy anything you can't carry.

I am in the process of buying my first house. I found one, offer accpeted and inspections had. The inspector told me I need roof repair in 5 years, but overall it's ok. Then the insurance agent has deemed my roof "uninsurable". What happens now? My ten days post offer grace period is over but I can't get a loan without proper insurance. I can't possibly spend more money on this house at this time either. So what happens in this scenario? The agent said they will likely pay for the roof, is that normal? I only had $1,000 post inspection repairs in the contract.

I keep hearing how important the number of megapixels is, but the camera I'm looking at only lists the resolution as 100k pixels. Also, for Image Resolution it says 352 x 288 Pixels (HQ) and 176 x 144 Pixels (LQ). Can anybody interpret these numbers for me, and let me know if this is at least a half-decent camera? The price is pretty low, so if it's decent I want to buy it. Thank you.

I am fed up with my tax dollars paying for those damn public libraries!!!! My taxes are too da mn high! I don't use libraries, only people who use libraries are those too cheap to pay for internet and to buy books! These people are sponging off my hard work!

Reasonable solution is to have Library Manintainance Organizations (LMO's) where those who want to pay for a library can have it. And of course, the LMO executives will deserve to get paid $2 milion a year or more.

I stay in a apartment complex that is next door to some more apartments. They is owned by two different companies and managed by two different people. I stay in a nice quite neighborhood. I wanna know how can I get in contact with the manager from across the street about someone in their apt is bringing bad negative attention to their apt and neighborhood. I've heard comments about the person and I feel that person should get an eviction notice do to bad disturbance I believe no one likes the person to (not the manager)

So i have been dilated to 2cm for the past 4 weeks! No changes at all! What i am wondering is--did this happen to anyone else and then you suddenly went into labor? I went to the doctor today, still no change. I lost mucus plug last night but have been having bloody show for the past 3 weeks!
So just because i have not progressed at all doesnt mean that i couldnt go into labor any day now, right?? Please tell me your experience!!

We just ran a Gen Chem experiment today to make ferrofluid. The experiment usually works, but today it didn't. The Fe(III) and Fe(II) reagents were made correctly and only a couple of days old (I know that Fe(ii) is air oxidized). Is it possible my magnets have gotten weak? They are about 5 years old or so. I am not that familiar with magnets to know if they can become "de-magnetised". Any suggestions would be great. I need to fix the problem before the next set of students. Thanks!
