how can i help someone who cuts himself?

a really good friend of mine has a lot of problems. his parents are never home and when they are they don't care about him. he has drinking and smoking problems and now he cuts himself. the thing is that at school he's really normal but when he goes home he does all that stuff. so how can i help him?

What do you think of this one? They may vote on it tomorrow and I don't think it even passed through the House before getting to the Senate. The first one is Reid's bill, and this one is Kennedy's bill.

Sick or dead to glorify GOD?

It is a question for CHRISTIANS only. If you believe in other religion, could you please not to answer it?

I don't understand that why GOD lets some good people die tragically and some good people have pain / non curable diseases? If GOD loves us, why do we (Christians) have to suffer? I heard some people explain that it is to "Glorify" GOD. What is the logic (or reasons) behind it? I don't get it. :(

A friend posted this earlier today, but it made me laugh so i thought id share it also...?

A guy walks into a bar with his dog, both sit up to the bar..the guy tells the bartender my dog can talk and understands English..bartender decides to test it out..she hands the dog a dollar and tells him to go get a newspaper and bring it back..the dog took the dollar and scampers out..

An hour goes by and the dog still hasnt returned..the bartender claims fraud!..so the guy goes, 'this is not like him, id better go look.' The guy searches all around, then finally walks down the alley behind the bar and sees his dog- whos gingerly humping away on a female dog..

Shocked he says, "DOG, ive never seen you do that before"!!
the dog turns to him and says "well, ive never had money before"...

help- i don't feel motivated to study for my science exam because i'm doing badly anyway..?

i dropped from 10 percent from a high 90 at the start of the course to an 80-something! and now, i don't feel motivated to study because i know i'll have a horrible mark anyway. what do i do? i feel horrible.

and it's my birthday today, which makes it worse....:(
