At a drugstore. It's spelled "ipecac".

These days doctors advise AGAINST keeping syrup of ipecac in the home. There are better ways of dealing with poisoning.

If you are trying to make yourself throw up as a means of weight control, don't do it. You could end up killing yourself because ipecac damages the heart.

you can usually find it in most pharmacies. ask the pharmacy staff where it's located in the store. they come in tiny bottles, so it's easy to miss, but be careful. with more research being done, studies are finding that syrup of ipecac usually does more harm than good. the pharmacy where i work has stopped carrying it because of this. i recommend to have it on hand, but to call poison control first before using it.

You can find Syrup of Ipecac at any local drugstore. All you have to do is ask your pharmacist and he will provide you with a bottle.

It is not the syrup. Mother tincture of Ipecac (Ipecacunha) is available at most of the Homeopathic pharmacies.

It is indicated for nausea, vomitting and cough etc. But be careful, it can induce vomitting too.

Most drug stores have it. If you can't find it on the shelf, just ask at the pharmacy.
