Tony Blair had no proper mandate for war the UN were originally opposed to the war. Yet , they were bullied into it by the USA and to top it off Kofi Annan was falsly accused of an Oil for Food scam (This trying to discredit his claims against the US). It seems to me leaders of powerful countries abide by no laws. Has any British Prime Minister or American Presedent ever been put on trial?

I am a Christian.
But I don't watch television preachers anymore unless they talk to me intelligently.
Example; Paula White speaks and repeats herself such as.."His will shall be done in heaven and in 2007" then she slowly repeated it again and again, while pointing upwards and then downwards, as if she is speaking to retards,
so I changed the channel to avoid hearing her repeat it again. Creflo Dollar does this also, and so do other preachers, they repeat things over and over, as if we listeners are a bunch of dummies who didn't get it right the first time.
I find it downright insulting, an affront to my status as an adult and it is annoying.
Do you notice this and if so, what do you make of it, if anything.
For that very reason, I refuse to listen so as not to get my intelligence insulted. I love God, but surely God isn't doing this!

Yet the evil influences of pagan attitudes toward sex and relationships subtly affect even the church world.
I just read this as a response to a question and am torn between laughter and throwing my computer across the room. I'm Pagan and I have a better marriage than most Christians I know. I have been having digestive problems for years (chronic constipation) and have gone to see many regular medical doctors but I continue to have the digestive issues. This chronic issue has also caused me to start having severe anxiety so bad that I very very rarely go out anymore. Sometimes I don't even answer my front door. It's getting bad and seems to be worse as the years go by. I want to go to a good doctor and was just wondering if a doctor of internal medicine would be a good choice? There are no specialist (gastroenterologists) anywhere near me so I can only choose from regular medical doctors (of which I've been to see many with no results whatsoever on my conditions) and then I've seen listings for several Internal Medicine doctors so I was thinking maybe on of those could help me. I've never gone to an Internal Medicine doctor and don't know anything about what they do or specialize in so could someone provide some insight & let me know if they are a good choice for me?

On their first date, Joe took Rose to the carnival. When he asked her what she wanted to do first, Rose replied, "Get weighed."

So Joe took her to the man with the scale who guesses your weight. He looked at Rose and said, "One hundred and twenty pounds." Since Rose weighed in at one seventeen, she collected a prize.

Next they went on the roller coaster. When the ride was finished, Joe asked Rose what she wanted to do next. "Get weighed," she said. So they went back to the man with the scale, who of course guessed Rose's weight correctly.
Leaving without a prize, they went for a ride on the merry-go-round. After they got off, Joe asked Rose what she wanted to do next. "I want to get weighed!" she said again.

Now Joe began to think this girl was quite strange, and decided to end the evening quickly. He left her at the door with a quick handshake.

Rose's roommate was waiting up for her return and asked how the eveningwent.

"Wousy!" Rose replied.
