No, not evil. Every one has different beliefs and that is ok. When you berate and belittle people for something they do because you don't believe in it, that is evil. It is not our job to tell others what to do with their lives.

No it does not make them evil its just their opinion is different. I dont believe anyone should be critisized for there beliefs just becasue you dont agree with them.

Now while I do beleve that gay marrige is perfeectly fine and I fully support it I am not willing to declare someone is wrong or evil just for haveing a differnt stance against myself. I will usually have an informed discussion with a person or debate to try and edjucate them on my views and they will do the same. Sometimes while doing this you will learn that you were wrong or sometimes what they say only backs you up further in your beliefs

So I suggest before declareing someone evil or wrong for not haveing an opinion that is the same as yours research the topic, inform yourself, and disscus the issue at hand. the only thing that will come form this is that you will better yourself and hopefully others too.

Nope.

States have the right to determine this issue based on the what the population of that state holds as right.

I don't care if people are engaging in this behavior in their home . . . I don't care if some states wants to make laws allowing this. I do have a say in my own state, and will live with the outcome. If, however, I disagree with the outcome, I might move . . .

Never said I didn't believe in it..that would mean it doesn't exist...what I said was "I don't believe in the sanctity of it and I do not support it" completely different meaning. Go back to school Kiddo.

To reject evil is not evil.

You do realize that marriage is a Christian created concept...They own it.

No, thankfully we still have freedom to disagree with things. Now the ACLU and media may say you are a evil person, but they base their ideas on one belief. Believe what you believe and don't care if society calls you evil.

It does not make them evil. What makes them evil is when they want to live by a double standard. You can't ban gay marriage if you allow hetrosexual marriage. It is so simple. It has nothing to do with religion. It has everything to do with allowing ADULTS to live their own lives.

Two consenting adults of the same gender engaged in a sexual relationship are not hurting ANYONE. They are entitled to the same protection under the law as a hetrosexual couple.

Those of you who are going to say that if we permit gay marriage, we will have to permit polygamy, child sexual abuse, etc..... That's just stupid. If you cannot see the difference between the issues, you need to keep your mouth shut. Better to be silent and perceived as intelligent than to open your mouth and prove your stupidity.

Everyone is welcome, as Americans, to believe what they want to believe, and do what they believe in doing.

BUT, nobody as Americans is allowed to infringe upon anybody's rights as a human. Nor are they allowed to cause physical harm to anyone.

Two people should be allowed to engage in any sort of physical contact as they choose when behind closed doors. And no American has the right to say who anyone is alloved to love or form a relationship with.

Therefore it makes sense that the American thing to do is allow free marriage among anyone who chooses to do so.

If you have religios beliefs that say otherwise, then God will judge. It is not up to any human to judge, or punish. Go ahead and talk about it, and call them names and such, but that is against the law of God too.

It is up to the individuals involved to make their own choice, and NOBODY else.

I don't think a persons opinion makes them good or evil.
It matters what actions they take on these opinions.

I agree with what Bonsai Bobby said. What is evil is to harbor hatred towards someone who has the other viewpoint.

I'm learning!

Well, considering homosexuality and evil are synonymous with each other, my guess would be no.

Yea. That's what I'll go with. No.

And it's not a matter of "believeing in" gay "marriage". It's only a matter of knowing that it's disgusting and perverse.
