I am having an afternoon wedding by the lake. The place where we are having the reception stops serving at 2:00 (country club). So we can't decorate until after. So what I am trying to figure out how much time to allocate for decorating, getting married, pics and then having the reception. I do have people who can help with decorating (simple). And the wedding site, reception site and my house are all within a few miles of each other. What ideas do you have for scheduling? Thanks!

its a second hand electrolux,fires up fine on gas and gets cold.On 240v mains it seems to go a little cold and then nothing its been on for around 6 hrs the pipes on the back are hot and yet the ice box is at ambient temperature.Am i not leaving it long enough?Am i supposed to get it cold on gas first?... its all new to me

Christians follow the New Testament. We only care for the creation story and the Ten Commandments. That's it. the New Testament is what represents what Christianity is all about and there was no wars waged and that much blood spilled (mostly Christs').

So why use the Jewish Testament to ridicule Christians?

All the Old Testament was good for was to make sure Jesus was born... notice how all the events that happen lead up to Christs birth and then just ends?

God basically used the Jews to ensure that his Son was born. But it's the New Testament that we go by.

So why use the Jewish Torah against Christianity?

All right, an older businesswoman and I were on a casual lunch and we were eating at an establishment I am quite familiar with. I made a suggestion of one of the specialties then after explaining it, she expressed interest in trying it then. I asked her if she wanted it then, and she said yes. So, when the waiter came around, I said her order along with mine. She then commented afterwards that a lot of men won't do that kind of thing anymore, regretting it. I have always seen this as one of the things a gentleman would do. So, I have a few questions.

Ladies, how do you feel about a man ordering for your table if he knows your order? Why?
Gentlemen, would you (or do you) do this? Why or why not?
And both, what is your general opinion on ordering for your date? Where does it stem from and what would you do in this situation?

This is a cross question, I wanted to see how the Dating people would answer, and the Etiquette ones. I do not believe that posting this twice is "excessive."

my little brother did the experiment about the candle that stops burning if u close on it with some tube ( the candle is standing in a vase of water), after a while the candle stops burning and the water level rises a little. So the oxygen is consumed by the candle but why the water level rises???

He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, having become so much better than the angels, as He has by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they. Hebrews 1:3-4 Jesus is better then the angels.

But when He again brings the firstborn into the world, He says: “ Let all the angels of God worship Him.” If Jesus was an angel then He is disobeying God and not worshipping himself. God said all angels will worship Jesus.

But to which of the angels has He ever said:“ Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool”? Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation? This verse is saying angels are the ones who proclaim Jesus.

Jesus was not an angel. Jesus was God.
