nor can they die anymore, for they are equal to the angels and are sons of God, being sons of the resurrection. Luke 20:36 This verse says that angels cannot die, so if jesus was an angel how did He die?

He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, having become so much better than the angels, as He has by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they. Hebrews 1:3-4 Jesus is better then the angels.

But when He again brings the firstborn into the world, He says: “ Let all the angels of God worship Him.” If Jesus was an angel then He is disobeying God and not worshipping himself. God said all angels will worship Jesus.

But to which of the angels has He ever said:“ Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool”? Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation? This verse is saying angels are the ones who proclaim Jesus.

Jesus was not an angel. Jesus was God.

>Hey Jehovah's Witnesses was Jesus really an angel?

Yes.

Gal 4:14 And my temptation which was in my flesh ye despised not, nor rejected; but received me as an angel of God, as Christ Jesus.

>Luke 20:36 This verse says that angels cannot die, so if Jesus was an angel how did He die?

Jesus was fashioned into a human, made less then angels.

Hbr 2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death

Jesus, who was “the Word” of God, “out of heaven,” divested himself of spirit nature and “became flesh.” (Joh 1:1; 1Co 15:47; Php 2:5-8; Joh 1:14; 1Ti 3:16) That in being born as a human he was no spirit and that he did not merely assume a fleshly body, as angels had done in the past (Ge 18:1-3; 19:1; Jos 5:13-15).

>Hebrews 1:3-4 Jesus is better then the angels.

Yes. Jesus took part in their creation.
Col 1:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth,

John 1:1 Shows that Jesus is a god.

and the word was with God [Almighty], and the word is god.

>God said all angels will worship Jesus.

Christ is the appointed heir of all things, crowned with glory and honor and appointed over the works of Jehovah’s hands.—Heb 1:2; 2:7-9.

>This verse is saying angels are the ones who proclaim Jesus.

Jesus is Chief among all other messangers.

1 Th 4:16 - For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the call of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. First, all the Christians who have died will rise from their graves.

>Jesus was not an angel. Jesus was God.

Correct.
Jesus was a god (John 1:1) and a Archangel rather then a normal angel. (1 Th 4:16)

The context of Luke 20:36, is that they will not again die of old age, or sickness, as the angels.

Angels do not grow old, they do not get sick.

Those resurrected to heaven receive spirit bodies.
Those resurrected to heaven have been cleansed from Adam's sin, and no longer suffer the consequences of that sin.

Just as Jesus was given immortality for his faithfulness, those resurrected to heaven are also given immortality.

Only Jehovah God can or could never die.

If Jesus had been God, then Jesus could never have died, therefore there is no hope of life eternal.

There is no hope of having a loving relationship with Jesus' Father.

As Paul said we Christians are to be the most pitied of mankind if Jesus hadn't died.

As to Hebrews chapter one, this is one of the best verses proving that Jesus is the Firstborn (eldest or oldest) Son of God.

That Jesus is the exact representation of God, (an image)

Heb 1:9 proves that is was Jesus' God that gave him a name higher than his partners,

Yes Jesus is sitting not on the throne of his Father but at his Right Hand, Rev 4 & 5.

As to can angels die? the answer is yes they can.

While on earth, Jesus wasn't an angel. Read Hebrews 2:9. While in heaven, Jesus is higher than angels. The hierarchy in heaven is angels, cherubs, seraphs. Jesus would be above them. The term 'angel' can be used generically to indicate a spirit creature if you don't want to get into a semantical argument (which it seems you do).

As far as Jesus being God is concerned, read Proverbs 8:22-31. These are prophetic of Jesus, and describe him as being the 'earliest of Gods achievements of long ago'. If God created Jesus, how can Jesus be God?

Just like any other true believer you take what works and make it say what you want it to.
the Witnesses believe that Jesus is the first angel God Created. Then he was sent in mortal form to earth to die for our salvation. He asked on the Cross/ Stake-whatever "my Father why hast thou forsaken me?" What, was he talking to himself?
If you are going to attack someones beliefs, try to ensure you know what you are talking about.
I was kicked out of the witnesses 23 years ago and don't even share or study their beliefs anymore but I could blow your whole argument out of the water if I wanted to go deeper thatn I already have. However I think this should be enough. the only reason there are so many religions in the world of christianity is that all you crazy believers only use the parts of the bible which reinforce your viewpoints. If any one ever tried to follow all of the bible all the chistian religions would be out of business.

I'm not JW... Jesus is God's son. NOT God the Father.
