My ex-boyfriend, was horrible to me. He used to shout and swear at me, humilitate me, pressure me into doing drugs and going to things I didn't want to go to, tell me I was f.cked in the head (I've been suffering depression from childhood trauma), told lies to me about one of my friends and vice versa to weaken our relationship, told me what to think, do and how to feel, and was emotionally inept. He told me that unless we stopped arguing (i.e. I stopped agreeing with him) then we didn't have a future. And at a critical moment in my life, let me down really badly.

But, we had some good times too, mostly revolving around parties, yes, but he also did take me out to a few nice places, pampered me on my birthday and it made me so happy when I was making him happy.

Why do I miss him so much? He was never 'there' for me when I needed him, but I know in his own way he loved me. I just feel really empty without him, and want him here so badly. How do I stay strong?

I have a 16 month old male Beagle/Poodle mix and he is still chewing. He appears to understand that he has done wrong when he gets caught, but that doesn't stop the behavior. People have told me that this is common for Beagles, but I would appreciate any advice.

I am a Realtor I have had a listing for about 8 months now, orginally we priced the home close to it's apprasied vaule.. after months and months on the market with no offers the sellers lowered the price. Yesterday we got TWO offers one was very low and not even to be considered the other one was only $5000 away from the asking price.. I agreed to take 1% off my commision to make it a difference of only $2800.

The sellers have a daguhter that is willing to move into the house now so they are not that desperate to sell but I ask this.. if you had the opporutnity to sell for a difference of $2800 would you??

What else could I do as the agent to help them? I don't really want to see them go thru this again when the daughter moves out in a year or so..

Thanks!

i looked it up and i got this definition:

1. Prosody. a poem, properly expressive of a single, complete thought, idea, or sentiment, of 14 lines, usually in iambic pentameter, with rhymes arranged according to one of certain definite schemes, being in the strict or Italian form divided into a major group of 8 lines (the octave) followed by a minor group of 6 lines (the sestet), and in a common English form into 3 quatrains followed by a couplet.

my first thought was................WTF!?!?

can someone explain everything there is about it. please!

I have been off of birth control for a year now
and my periods didnt start up again until a couple months ago.
(my periods used to be really irregular btw)
anyway, whenever I have my monthly it seems to be more of a brown color and not red like it used to be when I was on birth control.
It's not a heavy flow either.
Do you know what this could be?
I am trying to get pregnant again, could this effect this in any way?

Many people in R & S have pointed out the drastic differences between the God of the New Testament and the God of the Old Testament. Like one person said, the God of the Old Testament is psychotic, vengeful, jealous, confused, murderous and evil, whereas the God of the New Testament is all about peace, love and forgiveness. This difference indicates that one of three things is true: 1) The Old Testament God is false and the New Testament describes the real God, 2) God changed between the time of the New Testament and the time of the Old Testament or 3) Both testaments are false. If possibility No. 1 is true, then Christians should never quote the Old Testament or refer to any stories from the Old Testament. Also, wouldn’t God make some kind of announcement to let us know that the god depicted in the Old Testament is not him? If possibility No. 2 is true, that would mean that, even if he changed, he is far from perfect. You would also think that he would speak to us in some way to let us know that he changed and why he was the way he was in the Old Testament. Shouldn’t he apologize? If possibility No. 3 is true, then it is all a moot topic. Your thoughts?

I'm going on a Norwegian cruise (NCL) out of NY and it's for my brother's bachelor party so I was wondering if there was some way that I could sneak booze on board. Do they thoroughly check the luggage and if so would they really find one bottle?

I have to file a small claims in court and wanted to know if you can legally collect for finance charges. I work for a small company and send out monthly statements religiously at the first of every month. Well on these statements, it clearly states that all past due balances over 30 days will be assessed a 1.5% interest charge. Well like I said, I am filing in SMC today on a deadbeat payer and wanted to know if I am legally able to collect these fees? I have heard in the past that you couldnt.

P.S. I will be filing in Michigan!

I read Thomas Jefferson's when I was young.

In his day, gentlemen would annotate different parts of the Bible, underlining the parts of scripture that they believed were truly the word of God, and which parts they thought to be fabricated.

They would meet to discuss agreements and disagreements. The Bostonians’ Bibles would be almost without a mark. Thomas Paine's would have only a few sentences left. Jefferson's was somewhere in the middle.

This is how we came to have separation of Church and State, thank God, not by hiding from the Bible, but by studying it.

-Purchased NEW in '94,
-a little over 206,000 miles(seen some serious road time, but she's still in great condition)
-a steal at $2250 (price is negotiable)
-It does as well as a 13 year old car with a V6 can do on gas. About mid- to high-teens in the city, mid-twenties on the highway. The transmission slips a little when you start it for the first time of the day, but once she warms up it's smooth as silk. No major engine probs. I have all of the maintenance records for the past several years for you to review.
