I will be glad to help you out my friend.

Tae Bo: Created by Billy Blanks, basically Aerobics with a Martial Arts theme. Meaning repeatedly doing kicking and punching as an Aerobic exercise. Think step aerobics or any other type aerobics, but now do Martial Arts inspired moves while dancing around... that is pretty much it. (it's aerobics, no fighting)

Cardio Kickboxing: Generic Tae Bo, basically the same thing though. Kickboxing themed Aerobics. So instead of doing jumping jacks you are doing kicks and punches. (I laugh my *** off seeing these people do this while wearing handwraps lol) (no fighting, or sparring or anything)

Muay Thai: The real deal, essentially kickboxing with more striking points allowed, and fighting in the clinch. So you have kicking, punching, knees, and elbows. Additionally strong emphasis on leg kicks, and working in the clinch. (Particularly knees and throws from the clinch). Hard sparring, hard fighting, and hard conditioning. It is a fighting Martial Art.

That about covers it, message me if you need any further clarification.

Muay Thai is a form of kickboxing (originated in Thailand) where you actually have an opponent and it's a competition to knock the other person out or score the most points. Knees, elbows, leg kicks and various other techniques are allowed.

Cardio kickboxing is a cardio or aerobic workout. There is no opponent or competition. It's an aerobic workout using martial arts moves (kicks, punches, knees & elbows). Tae Bo is just another name for cardio kickboxing

Muay Thai is a kickboxing art and sport that originated in Thailand, it utilizes not only kicks and punches, but knees and elbows too, and in the old days of traditional Muay Thai even headbutts were used. Tae Bo is an aerobics cardio workout fitness regimen that uses martial arts moves to work your muscles accompanied by fast music to make it fun and exciting. It was created by Billy Blanks, an American martial artist( a Karate black belt if I remember) who also starred in movies and became a fitness instructor to the stars.

Tae Bo is a system of exercise routines, loosely based upon Martial Arts, with very little emphasis placed on proper form.

Muay Thai is a Martial Art fighting form that is also great for aerobic exercise. It, on the other hand, places a high value on proper form.

By "training" I assume you mean you want to learn something that will actually be useful in self defense or in competition.
That's NOT Tae Bo.
That IS Muay Thai.

Well Tae Bo is more fitness. That why it was promoted to such lengths for fitness. Muay Thai is a street art that is very effective. It does promote some fitness with the swift continual movements, but it doesn't burn all the calories Tae Bo does; however, Tae bo isn't really effective in a streetfight. My advice is Muay Thai, burns some calories plus gives you protection.

Muay thai is a traditinal thai martial art taught to royal guards and the royalties. It was later passed down to soldiers during war time. Muay thai is practised today in many countries. But the most traditional ones still exists in Thailand and Cambodia. You can find many underground muay thai fights in thailand, especiall at the border of thailand and cambodia.

Tae bo is an aerobic. It do not focus on fighting. But it is sure a good way to burn fat, way better then training on martial arts.

There is Muay Thai which is sometimes called kickboxing and American kickboxing.

American kikcboxing is a mix of striking and kicking arts. I think it started in Cali when a group of people got together and started looking at what 'worked' and what didn't.

Fitness kickboxing is aerobics and does not focus on technique. Anybody can punch and kick, but you have to do it right to fight.

Muay Thai is a real traditional fighting art that comes from Thailand and includes knees and shin kicks and foot stomps and clinches and a lot of nasty but very effective stuff.

Tae Bo is a fake martial art that is made for television but if you want to do it for fitness, I suppose thats allright. Any activity is good for you.

It depends what your goals are, do you want to learn how to fight or do you just want to get some exercise?
