the theory of evolution has so many holes in it and missing links that it is quite embarrassing. I was wondering if all atheists followed like sheep and believed this outrageous theory?

My husband and I are going through a very tough time. I don't think it can be explained easily like : we fight about money, work or bills. Its more that he loves to be a j*ckass and tickle and show affection in a really obnoxious way. Hoping to get a smile or giggle out of me. It usually causes me to retaliate by kicking him (involuntary?) or yelling and getting mad. These are the only ways to get him to leave me be. But recently I have less and less tolerance for his behavior. And he has less and less tolerance for my being b*tchy afterwards. (I can definately admit that I am a flaming b*tch after wards but I feel like he was just trying to poke the sleeping bear to get a reaction, and when he gets it he is surprised.)
We have 2 small children who both adore him and he is a wonderful father. I just wonder how can you tell if you are still loving toward one another? I can't imagine life without him, but am I just not wanting to move away because it will neg. affect my kids?

i backed into an old lady, and im wondering how much it will be to fix her crappy *** car. i put a slight dent on the front panel above the tire. she says it affects the driving (the tire is obsturucted)
nothing happened to my car, NOTHING!
i kelly blue booked her car and its not even worth 1000 bucks, i want to not go through insurance, because im still considered a young driver (im 20) and i already pay 200 bucks a month for insurance, this is the first accident ive ever been in, btw, and ive never gotten a ticket, or been pulled over.

so what are my options? how much do you think it will be to fix her junker?

Hey ya-so I've finished up a 3 day physical/drug screening/DOJ background/fingerprint/TB test etc, and I'm headed back home which is about 300 miles away later today. It looks like I have the job, but I have some expenses that I wanted to ask the new employer about covering (gas, motel, food only). Anyone know when a good time to ask would be and how to approach the HR manager about it? Thanx.

Across an hour here and an hour there this afternoon, I tried my level best to bring forth honest, straight answers to questions addressed to fundies. It was hopeless. Inevitably, those who focused on the question at all, either sent me long quotes from the Bible or danced around the minutiae in my question. For example, after asking about atrocities recorded in the Bible, I mentioned galaxies and stars. Guess what the answer to the entire question was: 'galaxies' are not mentioned in the Bible--as if stars, which God created as a kind of afterthought, are not a part of galaxies, as ours is. It's really rather sad, you know? They believe with such fervor but clearly know little about what it is they believe in.

My best friends boyfriend just broke up with her and she is going to wedding tomorrow which he was supposed to accompany her to. I know her whole family (we've been friends since third grade and are now at the same college together in the same dorm) and we were discussing if it would be okay for me to go with her considering she RSVPed for two people. Do you think it is okay for me to go with her?

I am a gemini, married to a Capricorn to a few years. Does anyone have any tips? In every "compatibility report" I've read it's says something along the lines of "good luck.. you are total opposites and you will have to work very hard to stay afloat". Have any such couples found this to be true? I know I have do to our conflicting traits, but I would sincerely appreciate any feedback!
Thanks

I know in the past I have been guilty of just trying to vindicate my own perspective and limited understanding of truth.

Once I really started searching I found this saying to be very true: "The truth shall make you free"

So 1. Who thinks they're actually looking?
2. Who thinks the average person is really looking?

Its simple....

I BEG you not to watch Jim Carrey's 'Number 23'.

I had to switch off with 23 mins to go, and the way I see it that still makes 23. Weird, eh?

For those of you who've endured this 'epic', you may understand my sarcasm.

So I guess, the Q is, did you love this film as much as me???

And I think even you Christians will have to agree that that statement is correct, whether you like it or not...

My question is this: Does it truly make sense to you that there is a god somewhere that literally only cares about ONE thing... that you believe he exists? And he has purposely made it hard to believe he exists, by introducing contradictory facts such as scientific principles, natural laws, etc...

That really is what it boils down to, so don't try to spin this. You know as well as I do that Christians don't believe that good works will get you into heaven.

I can be the most honorable and cherished human being on the planet, but according to you... because god has successfully hidden himself from me... I deserve eternal punishment in hell?

I'd love to hear this rationalized folks...

I am agnostic and persuadable.
The question is are you familiar with the similarities between Jesus's life and death and ressurection and the apparent passage of the Sun throughout the year?
Finding out about it would not question your faith in any way, and maybe strengthen it.
I knew about it vaguely for a long time, but thanks to the web, and discriminating research, have now more exact info, it's fascinating.
Anyone with links, I'd be grateful.

I'm 20 years old. I usually drink lots of water. I am a smoker and don't excercise too much. I was very dehydrated due to consumtion of way too much alcohol early this week ( i usually don't drink much) but that's when the dizzy spells started. Since that day i have stayed extra hydrated but they keep comming back. If i cough I get dizzy for a moment also when i look down very quickly. Looking up usually makes it go away more quickly but why is this happening?

I started working at a food place, my first job ever. I have never had cashier expirience. They put me up front almost immediately and it was so intimidating. The menu machine is so confusing when you look at it..it looks like too many buttons and the customers say their orders way too fast. I had such a bad time. I couldnt remember what they ordered for drinks, I would forget how much change they gave me..it was messy. I was nervous and some of the customers made it harder. I felt like I was slowing things down. I feel like I will never get the hang of this stupid job...any suggestions from expirienced workers?
