These are the facts as I understand them:
The universe is around 14.5 billion years old
It began from a single point and has been expanding since
As the speed of light is a universal constant I assume the radius of the universe to be 14.5 billion light years
If I look through a telescope I can see further into space and further back into time and I can do this in all directions.
Say I had a really powerful telescope and looking at the furthest objects that I could see, ie 14.5 billion light years away, would I be looking at a universe with radius 14.5 billion light years or radius 0?
Both answers seem to be true at the same time and its keeping me awake at night.

Hi, actually i wanna be a biologist and i love marine biology, i just wanna start but something tell me that is it a good idea?
I mean if i start and graduate at the biology university, will i make good money? How much? And what kinda things should i learn before i start, like math, or biology?

I have an old computer I let my children play on. We often download free/trial software use it for a while then get tired of it. As a result, I'm adding and removing software constantly. After a couple of months, the computer is seriously bloated and slow. So, I loaded a fresh copy of Windows XP and registered it. Then, I booted to a copy of Linux Live and copied the entire C drive to an empty partition. I then erased the C drive and copied the backup back to the orginal partition. Now, when I boot, I get a message saying, "NTLOADER missing." Why? It's exactly the same software.

so there's this guy and I'm wondering if i asked him out would he sey yes? I've known him for two years now. He's a total sweetheart and is nice to everyone. He's outgoing too and relaly funny. Last night my frend had a party and he was there. We had so much fun! Me and a couple of my frends (including my crush) got into a water fight and were chasing each other for a long time. He always seed to be finding a reason to chase me, or block me from chasing soeone else. He put his arms around me and was teasing me and everything. After that we were playing truth or dare and he got dared to give me a lap dance (hehe) but it was just like pretend and he dind't actally do it. then I was about to dare him again but he had to go. half an hour later he claled me an asked how everything was going and wut happened after he left. We tlked for a while and then he had to go. Skools out and im afraid ill never see him again. SHould i clal him and ask him out?? or no?? thnx for ur help<333

Ok here's the situation this gril I'v been dating for 3 years 9 months and one week broke up with me on june 7th. she's been the only girl iv been dating since i was 14 she says it's because i chill with her brother to much( I sleep there all the time with her) and she broke up with me she says we can be friends and possibly go back out in the near future(not to soon).
Did she just say that to make me feel a little better or do you think she means it? should i just give her time?Do u think I still have a shot?

My home has been on the market for a month. The price is we feel is fair, but the agents posted only one picture of my home on one website with a skimpy discription and after a month we have recieved no response. I have only spoke to the agents three times and now not at all. What can I do?

the thing is that I am engaded and this other man is married with 2 kids but hes not happy and here lately neither am I. We are just friends nothing more but I am getting feeling towards him. Dear Fellow Askers and Answerer's,

I'm off to pastures new and just wanted to thank those of you who took the trouble to answer my questions, star my questions and pick me as their 'Best Answerer', that particularly made me day :), it has up until now been fun and I will miss some of your wit and wisdom.

For those of you who may wonder why I am going?, well I don't think this will suprise you at all - the whole McCann debate and the way those for and against the family are treating one another at the moment, it deeply saddens me and quite frankly makes my blood run cold. I simply no longer wish to be associated with a site that allows this to go on.

I have found another site very similar that allows me to ask my usual tedious questions and where people are actually polite and supportive of one another.

And yes, I know I didn't need to read the stuff that upset me, I just couldn't believe what I was reading!!!!!!!!!!

i went to Snappy Snaps the other day to get a picture enhanced and im not happy with it. its of a car that my dad use to own and i had this idea to get his only picture of the car enhanced because back in the days when pictures were enlarged they went blurry so i thought i would take it to a shop and get it made to look sharper and maybe enhance the color and tidy it up a bit for a gift for fathers day. but come wednesday (3 days after taking to the shop) my mum goes to pick up the picture and when i gets home to see it im quite shocked at how crap it looked. not only did they do the finish in gloss when i askd for matt the picture looked as if al they done was darken the contrast and make the color deeper but brighter. there was no sharpening of the picture at all. so ppl do you think i am entitled to a refund? if they could make the picture better then i would accept it but im not so sure they can do any better then they think they have done. this cost me £45 for this, im not happy!

I have felt really tired etc for last 6 months. Have not drunk alcohol for last 3 years. Have generalised arthritis, need R. knee replacement, but I'm only 51 ! Having sorted my alcohol problem, now want to get on with my new life, but currently can't as feel so yuck! Any ideas as to what might be going on ?, and possible solutions
