Dear Fellow Askers and Answerer's,
I'm off to pastures new and just wanted to thank those of you who took the trouble to answer my questions, star my questions and pick me as their 'Best Answerer', that particularly made me day :), it has up until now been fun and I will miss some of your wit and wisdom.
For those of you who may wonder why I am going?, well I don't think this will suprise you at all - the whole McCann debate and the way those for and against the family are treating one another at the moment, it deeply saddens me and quite frankly makes my blood run cold. I simply no longer wish to be associated with a site that allows this to go on.
I have found another site very similar that allows me to ask my usual tedious questions and where people are actually polite and supportive of one another.
And yes, I know I didn't need to read the stuff that upset me, I just couldn't believe what I was reading!!!!!!!!!!

Good luck then. I hope the new site is better. I reply to the McCann questions constantly but have no ill feeling towards anyone with a different view. Life is filled with people who disagree with each other but not everyone feels animosity due to it. I really think that no matter what the views on here are the people are generally good people. The abuse just comes from getting over emotional on a subject. Anyway, good luck and I hope that you don't dislike us all for our childish arguing. Take care.

Is there any chance that you could tell me the name of this new site. I too am becoming rather tired of the repulsive nature of some of the characters on Answers.
I once asked a question about the Mccann case. It was to explore the class nature of English society. One person in particular was very offencive, she obviously didn't get the point of the question. There's nothing I'd like more than to see that young lass back in her parents' arms with hugs and tears and happiness. As with all the other children who go missing each day.
Some people on this thing are just rude. However, there is also much wisdom given freely by good people. I'm particularly impressed by Dr.Frank, who is a source of genuine goodness in a large pool of helpful people that is becoming tarnished by a small sour element.
I don't know who you are, and I'll probably never meat you, but I wish you all the best.
And I really would appreciate that new site's name. Thanks.

there are some things that i dont agree with but i think this site is about having your say...
99 % of the site is not about the McCanns and of that only a tiny fraction is of the extreme which most people dont agree with..
The truth is the McCann saga may have divided opinions in society...

awww tell me the site please and ill join you-i used to think this site could help u out and maybe you could have a chuckle at times. but the all knowing nation-who know exactly how this family should be acting and feeling at this time are making sick and tired. hope it never happens to them-on the other hand...... good luck chuck x

Truly sorry we disappointed you. Wish you could try to first change things here, say spread a little politeness & supportiveness, instead of just giving up on us & moving on. But nice of you to let us know & hopefully we'll mend our ways...: )
