Two elderly gentlemen from a retirement centre were sitting on a bench under a tree when one turns to the other and says: "Slim, I'm 83 years old now and I'm just full of aches and pains. I know you're about my age.
How do you feel?"
Slim says, "I feel just like a newborn baby."
"Really!! ? Like a newborn baby!?"
"Yep. No hair, no teeth, and I think I just wet my pants."

cervical cancer. Medicare didn't know. They said to ask my provider. I said, 'how will they know, if Medicare doens't know?'
I didn't get any response.

Then I was referred to the cancer society. Medicare said they would know. And they are closed till tomorrow.
In the meantime, does anyone know?

O.k. My mom has a box garden on our back porch. Her Green onions that she had planed, grew just fine, but when she pulled them, the Onions were soft. Is this cause from to much water?! And if so[or not] how often should you water Green Onions?!

Ok, this is a good discovery and I don't know if anyone else does this.... I had run out of bibs in my bib drawer.. They were downstairs getting washed.... However, I had just bought a new pack of walmart microfiber cleaning cloths.. Just use and wash...So, what the heck ! Anyway, my mom used to work at a dentist so I had a set of those clamp thingies they use to hold the "dentist bib" . I may NEVER use a regular bib again ! Not only could my little one not take it off, it absorbed like crazy and for $4 I got 12- and I can also use them for cleaning... Just toss em in the wash... Just don't use fabric softner with em !!!! Oh and when it was time to wipe the lil' guy up it worked like a charm... I also have one designated in my bathroom I take my make-up off with it !!! Works awesome ! Tell me what you think !

I am not being cheap or non traditional, but it seems to me there is a billion willion zillion pounds market for all sorts of cards and we are wasting so much money on this every year. There is also the environmental angle with the waste of paper. I don't see why we can't just keep the birthday card we buy our partner for example and bring it out next year and maybe update it every decade or so with a new card purchase.

Who has the opportunities, (in the U.S.) to start/own your own business. I would like to start my own business. But in todays society I'm not sure that everyone has all the opportunities to do this. Do you need a degree, lots of money, good credit, and does ethncicity effect your chances, of getting the help and support that one needs from government programs, and other organizations? I would like to find a mechanism that will activate when a book that it is in is opened. It can be pre-recorded or one that I can make the recording myself. I think these are button battery operated. The only ones I could find on the net were from China and only sold by the thousands
to merchants. I only need around a dozen or so depending on the price. Please help if you can.
