He does have faith in the military, it's the Commander in Chief he has no faith in. After 5 years, Bush has clearly proved he lacks the ability to direct our military forces.

Are military? Do you mean, our military?

Reid is expressing doubt based on the strong evidence that

1) Not enough soldiers have been deployed since day 1 of the invasion, thus allowing this cr@p to get out of hand in the first place.

2) The violence and killings of Iraqis and US soldiers are not slowing down despite the fact that security has been stepped up.

I think Reid and Pelosi have jumped the gun. We should give Bush's military leadership until Sept. to completely turn the situation around in Iraq (180 degrees). If it doesn't happen by then, cut off the funds and warn the President to start withdrawing soldiers before the funding completely runs out.

Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi and their ilk hate the military because they are too cowardly to ever serve in the military and they resent those of us who do have the courage. They are cowards and traitors to the United States

Depends on what you mean! I haven't heard him say that so a cite would be nice.

If your premise is that the war in Iraq cannot be won militarily, that is nothing new Gen Patreas said that, as did many other generals who have been in Iraq!

That the Congress are now going after some generals is new, however, they feel their leadership is questionable. That is valid! They will have harder confirmations and Iraq effects that directly! Perhaps that is why Bush has fired so many of them, though I tend to think it is because they don't agree with him or his policies, or his management of the "war"!

And it has nothing to do with faith in our soldiers, it has to do with those that lead them, or do not, as the case may be!

Why is the greatest military on the face of the earth being held to a standstill by people who have no military? After four years have you ever asked yourself this question? Our President is sacrificing our kids for his own agenda. We aren't fighting a war, we are occupying Iraq and acting like targets, despicable.

Check his votes for and against the military. I guess I would not have much faith in them either since they are being Micro-managed by politicians like him and that is a failed way of trying to manage anything!

Harry Reid has no respect for America, its Constitution or the principles set forth by our Founding Fathers. He is a traitor and in violation of his oath of office.
Fire him!

First off, it'd be "our" military.

Secondly, it's not our military he doesn't have faith in. He doesn't have faith in Bush that he'll lead us out of this war. And frankly, I don't think anyone has faith in him on that matter. Or faith in him at all.

But Reid does support our troops. Or the budget that funds them wouldn't have even been passed.

Because it doesn't fit his agenda. Even though he voted him in. Just like they vote for war, then later against it. I want to buy them all flip flops to wear to work so we hear them coming!! ;-)
