Think of a examples in your life that show you as a hard worker, a leader, people friendly, and easy to work with. The more examples the better. Show eagerness for the job and make it known that you are willing to work hard and learn fast. Don't just say you want the job for the money. This can be one of your reasons, but not the only. Say you want the job because someone you know worked at it and it seemed like something you would be interested in. And think of a few questions to ask them beforehand (NOT how much of a discount you will get, how long breaks, etc) but think of other ones that show you are really interested in the position.

Be honest. Dress appropriately (even if it's casual--make sure everything you wear is clean, unstained, and wrinkle/rip free. Always look the interviewer in the eye. Firm handshake. Don't mumble. Sound like you belong! They'll ask why they should hire you. Let them know what your strengths are that pertain to the job, (I work quickly & carefully, learn quickly, get along well with other people, reliable, etc.) Make sure you are respectful and tell them you can't wait to prove yourself on this job. Be sure to thank them for taking the time to interview you. Good luck! Oh, and don't forget to bring the appropriate information with you such as your social security number, name and address of two personal references that aren't related to you (maybe a teacher who knows you're a hard worker, a coach that knows what kind of a person you are, etc.) Make sure you get their permission first. Bring a pen with you & turn your cell phone off or leave it in the car if you have one.

Dress appropriately, speak in good English, make eye contact. SOme questions you might be asked are
Why do you want to work here?
Why are you better than other candidates?
How would you handle an irate customer?
Where do you see yourself in five years?
What are your strengths?
What are your weaknesses?
If you seen a friend or acquaintance stealing from the store what would you do?
Just a few questions you might be asked so you are better prepared.
