Other then the films of Akira Kurosawa (The Seven Samurai, Yojimbo, Throne of Blood, etc...), and the 47 Ronin, what are some other really good samurai movies??

Jusan-Nin no Shikaku (13 Assasins)
Ame Agaru (After the Rain)
Hangyakuji (The Conspirator)
Kiru (Destiny's Son) - In my opinion, one of the best EVER! A must see for any fan of Samurai movies.

I don't know about Japanese films, but I really liked Millionaire's First Love Gemul My Sassy Girl Taegukki I think taegukki is probably the best Korean movie I've seen so far.

Well, it's not Japanese but 'The Last Samurai' was pretty good. And the 'Shogun' TV movie series from way back was decent as well. But other then Kurosawa's awesome films, I cannot remember any others I have seen.

Well i dont know if you have seen the remake of Zatoichi, by director Takeshi Kitano... i really like it, although some of my friends didn't
