the answers shouldnt necessarily be in different languages...what i am looking for is creative and out of the box ways to acknowledge first when the call has started and then when its about to end. u can also go for a short phrase.

ok so theres this one girl that i really like and she jus so happens to be my friend. ive known her for about 3 years or so and she goes to a different school. the only way i see her is once a week in a karate class. the first year of me knowing her she told me she liked me but i sed things had to wait so we stayed friends. the next year she had a bf and we didnt talk as much anymore. aftr a whole yr they broke up. we started talking again. the past month or so we actually went out and hung out. she asked me to watch a movie then the next week we went minigolf. but i didnt c her for a month after that cause we were really b z but we still text each other once a week. this morning she texted me asking me if i liked her and so i said yes. she then says she wanted a guy to prove to her that they like her. i sed i was going to ask her to prom but she was really b z and i didnt get the chance. so she says it was ok and she was sory she was b z. well now i have to i guess prove to her >>>>>

Take one person who could care less about Japan besides what's in the news, add in the telepathy factor, and BAM! She's been learning Japanese for a reason.

If you don't understand what I mean, I'll make this simple: There is world telepathy, where people hear/read/receive the thoughts of one person at this very moment while she's awake. Until now, that person's been the only one.

But, not for long. Once that person is cured, there will be another one, this time one who speaks Japanese. And that's why the person that I know has been learning Japanese!

Confirm, or deny? And explanations welcome.

I'm about to send in an application for an apartment on my and my roommates behalf. The roommate is out of town and hasn't seen the place, so I feel very responsible for anything that goes wrong.
The application asks for typical info, but it also asks for my bank account numbers- this seems off to me (I've read that some places like to wire your deposit back to you, but it still seems weird). It also asks for a deposit and first month's rent in the form of a cashier's check, money order or certified check, which will make the agreement binding pending approval. Is this safe? Those are basically cash-in-hand forms, so it makes me nervous having no recourse.
Lastly, for any DC natives, the place is betwee 14th and 15th NW just north of W ST NW, right by Meridian Hill Park. Any big caveats to the neighborhood? I know its "transitional" but its transitioning in the right direction as far as I can tell.

Has anybody intentionally tried or eaten or "feasted" on bugs and what types have you eaten or tried..and what did they taste like and would you ever eat them again?
and why or why not?
Oh,and what is the best way to prepare them or what do you eat them with, or do you only eat them plain? (like any sauces or with meat, or rice or soups, or porridges etc?)
