well i think u should know 1st about lightning , lightning is nothing but heavy electric charges. and as you know our earth is a good conductor of electricity it allows to flow the charges of lightning through it so only always lightning faced towards earth.
i also never heard like this before, it is possible to strike lightning to a metal but to a mirror i don't think so.

While I was initially going to say no, I decided to take a look. It appears that mirrors are made with a fine layer of silver nitrate...a quote from the link is ...
"The final outcome is the formation of a uniform silver layer on the glass."
Now I am not saying that a mirror would contain enough metal to attract lightning, as I am a weather guesser by trade, not an electrician, but I would not entirely rule it out, because it IS attracted to metal.

That's new one on me, actually, lightning is attracted to the highest object. Like a tall tree, or a transmission tower. So don't worry about a mirror, unless that is the only high place around.

lighting is "attracted" to things that will conduct it and ground it. Sometimes it's flagpoles, sometimes it's a tree, sometimes a person. I guess it could be a mirror, if it's touching the ground or touching another conductor that is.
