Almost all kids get the Chicken Pox - but is there a shot for it like there's a shot for the Measles etc? I've never heard of one.

There is a Chicken Pox vaccine. It's called Varicella. Your local Public Health should have it, you doctor will for sure.

Yes there is. In fact, I was vaccinated with it as a child, and I have yet to see any sign of Chicken Pox on me.

Varicella is a drugs for this exact prupose I've read about it and had a swhot it is quite a painful neadle so if i was you id rather have chicken pox.

Wrong category but Yes, it's been around for several years. Kids have to have the vaccine to enter school.

yes there is a vaccine for chicken pox.
i don remember the exact name but my dad who is a doctor must be knowin. majority of us are not aware of the vaccine.

yes there is and my daughter had it when she was 6 and seh is now 11 and she has been exposed but has never gotten.
It didn't seem to hurt her.
And no I wouldn't want chickenpox over a shot.
