Please schedule an appointment for a formal diagnosis. Some things is could be are:

1. Balanitis xerotica obliterans. The cause is unknown as is how to prevent it. The doctor can give you a prescription for a steroid cream.

2. Vitiligo. This is often related to auto-immune and inflammatory diseases or thyroid issues. The treatment is usually a corticosteroid cream.

3. Hypopigmentation. Just less skin color in that area.

4. Tinea versicolor. A fungus infection that is treated with an antifungal cream.

There is no sense going into more detail on any of these until you know exactly what the patches are. It could be one of the above, but it could also be something different. Please see any of the following: your family doctor, a urologist or a dermatologist for diagnosis.
