i ask this because i asked a question a few days ago about last names not being mentioned much in the bible. and i was told they weren't used at all. how can anyone claim they were keeping accurate geneological records if not using some sort of surname system. if you look at the geneology of jesus, all they use is a list of first names. how accurate could that be?

I have an obsession with native americans . I also have weird dreams, some even come true. I have dreams about castles or houses that I have never been to , I dream about ghost and people that i have never seen before. Sometimes I also feel like there are people next to me but there is no one there .

Any help or advice that you can give me would be greatly appreciated thanks

Mark 11:24: Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

In John chapter 14, verses 12 through 14 we find the same thing: I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.

When a person says, "ask anything in my name, and I will do it," what does he mean? Presumably, Jesus means that if you ask for anything, he will do it. What else could he possibly mean, unless he is being dishonest? And Jesus does not say it once. He says the same thing over and over again. In Matthew 7:7: "Ask, and it will be given to you." In Matthew 17:20: "Nothing will be impossible for you." In Matthew 21:21: "If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer."

A co-worker is having his and his twin brothers birthday bash at a mutual friends house and one of the other employees was talking about smoking weed at the party and it put the birthday boy in a frenzy. Would this be considered bad manners? The policy is outside so they wouldnt be smoking it in the house. What so you all think?

It was on a saturday I was in my room I locked my door it was about 10:48pm. I was waching TV but latter on I fell a sleep. In my nightmare some sort of force pulled me to my callender in my room. The callender flew to the month of my birth date and a circle of blood looped around on my birth day. I fell back slowly and I landed on the floor I couldn't move at all. In my room my door open slowly and what came out was the Grim Reaper him self. He laugh and he tapped his syth 6 times on the ground. On his last tap I woke up. I looked everwere in my room and what I saw was my callender on the ground and my door was open. How could the door open if I locked it after I slept and why is my callender on the ground? In my dream everything looked so real. How could this be?

My modem acts as a router and it hooked up to a switch, the switch it hooked into a patch panel. I can not move the modem away from that spot because it needs to hook into the patch panel. I would like wireless access in a different room, but how do I set a wireless router to do that without running into a double nat?

OK, my platys are doing "No 2's" like mad now...!!
I carried out a water change earlier today - 20% and a clean - all the platys are looking fine and quite happy... except they are continually pooping...!!!

I am not kidding, just now all 4 of them had poo coming out that was 2-3 inches long...! The longest was at least 4 inches...!! I have never seen so much, is this normal??

I have tested all my levels since the water change - Amm 0, Nitrite 0, Nitrate 25 and pH 7.6 - so all OK, exactly the same as before my water change.

Please let me know if this is something I should worry about, or if it's normal for small platy's to have such long poos.....!!!

you say there is no such thing as Jesus?
If you know anything about the bible then you know that Jesus rode on the back of a donkey. After Jesus died the donkeys was marked with a cross on their backs. That cross remains on the donkeys back today. That is to show that Jesus was real and he walked on this earth just like you and I are.
I know you are going to try pick this statement apart, but just stop and think for a minute. That couldn't be created by a big bang. That was too well thought of :)

I have a baby painted turtle in a 10 gallon tank with an area to bask-how much water should I have in the tank for him & can I put sand in the bottom of the the tank? I know they drink the water they swim in, so I was wondering if sand is a bad idea? I had aquarium stones in it, but the tank just got so dirty, so I took them out. I just ordered a filter too,so maybe I can put the rocks back in?

I have been going to the dentist alot and having alot of novacaine and I live on orajel (benzocaine) I don't want to test positive for cocaine. also I've heard that alot of advil can cause a false positive for THC (pot) Is this a real worry or not?

A friend of mine is receiving about $3,500 from a relitive who passed away. She wantes to put that money towards her uncle's funeral costs. Her uncle is in a nurcing home and other than being parylized and diabetic he is healthy. He most likely will live another 30 years. Is there any way to safley invest that money so that in 30 years it will cover the cost of a funeral and so she will not get hit with taxes on the interest. She cannot put the money is his name or the nurcing home will take it.
