As individuals, all we can really do is start in our own little corner of the world. Spread random acts of love and kindness everywhere you go, to everyone you meet. If enough people get on the same page, it will spread.

Well, we can only do it on a personal level because we cannot control the world, as much as we would like to. Sadly, it's human nature to want exactly what you want when you want. Some people negociate, but some won't, and that creates violence. But on a personal level, we can learn to respect and show forgiveness and compassion. Just learn to tolerate people and be calm. There's a lot of philosophy out there that really helps (i.e. The Meditations (Marcus Aurelius), Tao Te Jing (Laozi), and Religious Documents (The Bible, Torah, Koran, etc.) They really helped me learn to work with people.

Not every one you approach may be up for that idea. Some people in the world are always having bad luck so therefore they can usually be always mad. Try inviting people over and getting to know you neighbor hood. Put up flyer's in your own neighbor hood and have a block party. Need to start small. If you go bigger could turn out to be horrible wrong for you(violence)

When greed and sexual inuendo are out of the equation (along with religion but that is another story) then you can talk about peace. People say they wanna be dirty rich... but would they act any different than those that already are. People are tired of wars, but do they even really know why they started?
(Some of the biggest wars in history were started over sex).

It's happening right here, right now!!!
Free and open international communication among just plain folk (well, relatively plain, anyway) is going to revolutionize international politics. How could we go along with declaring war on a guy who gave us plenty of best answers points???
Seriously, though: communication really is the key. I'm afraid that means English is rapidly becoming a world language, but since it's the only language I know, I guess I'm lucky.

I don't think it is possible. Wish it was, but it isn't.
In order for us to grow and learn, we have to disagree. Everytime someone comes up with a new idea or hypothesis, there is disagreement. It is actually a healthy thing in most cases, because it causes us to think through our beliefs and ideas more thoroughly.
Fighting and war isn't good, but until there is enough resources and less power grabbing intentions they will always exist.

True peace is an individual gift of God. We've never known world peace, and I seriously doubt we ever will.

If we were kinder, and less afraid and more open. If Christians actually behaved the way Jesus asks us to, we'd make the world a better place. I kind of think the onus is with us to do that, to be honest.
