I have the same problem with 34DDs (and I'm 18 too!)... I think larger sizes actually need push-ups more... so there is more support for the gals ;)
I buy my bras from Victoria's Secret... they are expensive but last a long time. There usually isn't a lot of bras our size in the stores.. and ordering bras on-line is iffy since you don't know how they feel.
I agree... try Kohls.. I got a nice strapless bra there that works better than any other strapless bra I've had. Or keep trying Victoria's Secret. :)

pushing the girls together is actually not a good look either. And a 36D certainly doesn't need help pushing them up. A proper fitting bra does not push them together, it supports, them usually separate. The middle of the bra should rest flat against your chest bone. If you push them together you get the uni-boob look that is not very attractive.
I would first at advise going to a dept store like nordstroms and get your self fitted. Nordy's has the absolute best lingerie dept. They are so helpful with proper fit and finding what bras work for you. They will show you how to properly adjust them and help with finding brands that work best. Oprah has them on her show every fall when she does the bra show.

I have to also agree that a D cup shouldn't use a push up bra. What you need is support, not to look bigger than you are. Talk to a salesperson at a finer department store who can fit you properly for a bra that's best suited for you. Most women wear the wrong size bra and she can guide you with your needs.

At 36D, I'm confused as to why you need a push up bra?
If you get a good bra that supports you, you won't need a push up bra. My advice is to get sized and keep trying on those bras! Personally I would stay away from push-ups.

I am a 34D and agree that push up bras are not made for us! I have several from Victorias Secret - but none of them really fit properly. I must say I reccently purchased my *favorite* all-time bra from Target. I believe the brand is Gillian's. It's tagless, underwire and lightly padded. It lifts me just right, and I don't fall out!

Pfft, if you really had 36D's, why would you need to make them bigger?
I think you are flattering yourself a bit.
If indeed you are lying, use a padded bra to make those 36D's you want so much.
If you are telling the truth, you shouldn't need to make them bigger, that would just be fake.
I think if indeed you are telling the truth (And are trying to make them bigger) just buy a confortable padded one.
Remember:
Don't be a fake slut.
Bye!
