They do have Cross on their backs the Jerusalem donkeys do.
Some donkeys (often called Christian donkeys) have a narrow strip of dark hair that runs down their backs and each of their shoulders. These markings are in the shape of a cross. Like the color traits of other animals (such as zebras), But, it does show the wonderful variety among God’s creatures.

This has to be the most ridiculous arguement I've ever heard. Yes, I know donkeys have crosses on their backs (I hated that damn donkey my parents owned). But I could make just as ridiculous of a statement.
The symbol of my belief is a pentagram (a star) there are far more stars in the sky than there are donkeys. So shouldn't it stand to reason that the Goddess is even more real than Jesus?
Do you see how ridiculous that sounds?
I'm sorry, but if your whole belief system is based on a donkey, you need to reevaluate what you believe. The cross on the donkey's back is no more significant than the spots on a leopard, the stripes on a zebra, the white socks on a cat.
And speaking of well thought of, your arguement is in no way, shape or form well thought. It's going to take more than a mark on an animal to convince me. Sorry, honey.

Ummm and donkeys didn't have that mark before Jesus's time? Can you prove it?
What about all other animal markings in the world? Did a zebra carry some demigod around, who eventually went to prison and that's why they have stripes? What about spots, what do those mean? What about Appaloosas? What about my kitty that had a spot going across both her front legs, like it was drawn there? Does that make her a holy cat?
Did you know that ravens are black because Raven stole the sun to give it to people, and it burned him and turned him black? That can't be created by a big bang, that was too well thought of. It must be true! There are no other possibilities!
BTW have you ever SEEN a donkey's marking? It's actually pretty faint. Tell your deity to use a finer pen next time.
And I don't see Jesus in grilled cheese sandwiches either.

Matthew 21 clearly states that Jesus ordered and got a donkey and a colt to ride on:
(v. 6-7) "The disciples went and did as Jesus had instructed them. They brought the donkey and the colt, placed their cloaks on them, and Jesus sat on them."
Ignoring the logistics of that arrangement, did they and their descendents ALL get cross marks? Do perhaps ALL equine species have this physiological peculiarity, including unridden ones? It would also be nice to have a link to a picture so we know what you are referring to.
[edit] Oh, never mind. I found a photo on my own.

Apparently a donkey with a lighter coat has a stripe over its shoulders perpendicular to its mane. So it MUST be TRUE! (What other possible, simpler explanation could there conceivably be but the direct intervention of God?)

Where in the bible is it listed that donkeys were marked with a cross on their backs to show that Jesus was real?

I am not even sure if donkeys do have crosses on their backs but what if donkeys always had crosses on their backs? What if that tale came hundreds of years after the crucifixion.. It would not be the first time something was added to religion at a later time.
Thanks for sharing the story though =)

You are going to have to try harder then that. "nonbelievers" mean that we don't believe, this includes the Bible. How can you use points from the Bible to prove a point to an Atheist??
Also we know that Jesus existed, in fact proof has been found that there was someone called Jesus who was crucified. We just don't think he was the son of God.

"During the first two centuries of Christianity, the cross was rare in Christian iconography as it depicts a purposely painful and gruesome method of public execution. The Ichthys, or fish symbol, was used by early Christians. The Chi-Rho monogram, which was adopted by Constantine I in the fourth century as his banner (see labarum), was another Early Christian symbol of wide use."
It's kind of surprising that Jesus knew what the symbol for Christianity would be in 200 years and chose that one insead of the one used at the time!
Also, I'm pretty sure Donkey's had the cross BEFORE Jesus.

Ok, so you're saying that cross isn't an X? As in the X-men? That X is proof that the X-men are real. I read it someplace. It said, "Wolverine rode on a donkey's back and loh, a light came down onto Him. And He sliced the light in half with his claws. And it was good. But the light, it did marketh the symbol of 'X' upon the donkey, forever and ever, to show that Wolvie did ride upon the beast."
Seriously. I read that. Somewhere.

Well because it's more feasible to believe a piece of alloy sitting on a purposeless barren mass of rock of no relation to each other in outer space as the result of a mysterious random explosion that happened so far back that it would be grossly inaccurate to calculate could instinctively yet unconscionably with only one in trillions of a chance for survival multiplied exponentially at each and every methodical randomly selective step "self evolve" into a computer with various necessary programs and applications who also went through the same extensive process randomly put together within one interface for an unknown purpose.
God bless

Have you ever looked at the back of a donkey. Also, if such a change in the species suddenly happened, it would have been recorded by other areas such as in China which has a long held and discriptive history.
