i know that shakespeare was an associate of King James...started a group called "the kings men". and why wouldnt the king use his own literary company to help with such a prolific piece of literature as the Bible?

this boy at school seriously has a huge crush on me. he catches up to me in the hallways and keeps talking to me. he also pretends like he needs the hw so he could find an excuse to sit near me at lunch. whats most annoying is that he gets mad if i talk to other guys and keeps instant messaging me. i dont know how to tell him to leave me alone without hurting his feelings. what should i do?

The religious environment that Pascal lived in was simple. Belief and disbelief only boiled down to two choices: Roman Catholicism and atheism. With a finite choice, his argument would be sound. But on Pascal's own premise that God is infinitely incomprehensible, then in theory, there would be an infinite number of possible theologies about God, all of which are equally probable.

Given that there are more than 2,500 gods known to man, and given Pascal's own assumptions that one cannot comprehend God (or gods), then it follows that, even the best case scenario (i.e. that God exists and that one of the known Gods and theologies happen to be the correct one) the chances of making a successful choice is less than one in 2,500.

Also, Pascal's negative theology does not exclude the possibility that the true God and true theology is not one that is currently known to the world.

Can you who use this wager against atheists, see the flaw in it?

My wedding is next year in May, and we don't have a lot of money. Do you think I can pull off a decent wedding on a $6,000 budget. Do you think this is going to be a nightmare? I'm not one of those girls who has to have the top notch fancy wedding but I do want it to look as if I spent about $10,000 or more on it. What do you think?

i really like it when bands use unconventional instruments and sounds. i think rock songs with harpsichord, organs, flute and the like are pretty cool.

can anyone recommend any songs to me with some unconventional instrumentation?

i also really like cool percussion, for example the drums in This Place is a Prison by the Postal Service. any similar music would be appreciated. thanks.

"New Light": "A new view of truth can never contradict a former truth. 'New light' never extinguishes older 'light', but adds to it.... So is it with the light of truth; the true increase is by adding to, not by substituting one for another". Zion's Watchtower, Feb. 1881

Jesus is NOT Michael the Archangel: "Hence it is said, 'Let all the angels of God worship him': (that must include Michael, the chief angel, hence Michael is not the Son of God)....".
The Watchtower, November 1879, p. 4

Jesus IS Michael the Archangel: "Jesus Christ, whom we understand from the scriptures to be Michael the Archangel." The Watchtower, Feb. 15, 1979, p. 31

The Watchtower Society has declared that "new light" can never contradict a former truth. Can Jesus really be Michael the Archangel?

My professor is insane. I thought the answer was 1/2 which is rational, but he says it isn't that easy. He used a formula such as Pn (with a hat of the 'P'- no idea what he means by hat) = X1+X2+...Xn-1+ Xn divided by n. He also mentioned "chi square for goodness of fit" Any ideas using either of these? It is known that for a large number of coin tosses, the proportion of tosses which turn up heads is approximately the same as the actual probability of obtaining a head on a single toss.In other words, Number of heads/Total Tosses= P(Head on a single toss.) This proportion is non-deterministic, but by a theorom proved called the Strong Law of large Numbers, the sequence of proportions converges to the value for P(head on a single toss) with probability one. (ie. 100% chance) Is the value for P (head on a single toss) a rational # r an irrational #? Use any method you want in attempting to address this question. There may not be a correct answer, just support your reasoning for the answ
