I think we're probably 'good' (or at least 'nothing') more often than we are 'evil'. If we were 'evil' more often than we were 'good' then we would be pretty horrible people to be around most of the time. And if we are 'good' more often than 'evil' then either 'good' is not so hard (most of the time) OR we are struggling heaps almost all of the time but 'manage' not to give into evil (I don't think this is true).

So maybe the question is why is it so easy to do 'evil' in some particular things, instead of doing 'good'? Perhaps because 'evil' seems to have more immediate rewards for ourselves. Perhaps because the 'evil' thing IS actually easier (eg. not apologizing) compared to the 'good' thing. Also because we tend towards selfishness - we tend to look after ourselves before we look after others even without realizing it. We care more about ourselves, so we do 'evil' when it benefits us more than 'good' would benefit us. (BUT of course we don't do this all the time - but those are just some reasons why we maybe do 'evil' things sometimes).

It's not.

Your just convinced that the "evil" stuff is easy because modern marketing tries very hard to hide consequences of such actions to convince you to act in their interest.

For example, is it easy to live with the health problems and financial drain of smoking... of course not. But marketing isn't going to tell you that. How about the health problems of a junk food diet? Sure it is "easy" to buy fast food and snack foods, but that is only because your not convinced it will harm you. If you had been taught from the beginning how to eat properly it would be habit and as you got older and watched your friends get fat and suffer heart attacks and live a life of pain from diabetes, you would then "want" to eat healthy.

Also, if you have ever volunteered your time or worked at a job that helps people, you would discover that that is far more satisfying than what you feel after doing "evil". But until you experience that, you won't know.

Evil and nature go hand and hand, there are a few sick "O" people out there but evil isn't the problem it is mental illness. I could pass as one of the most evil people in the world if people could read my mind, I surely couldn't pass a test on morals because mine are much different than anyone elses. I don't believe anything anyone tells me that wasn't actually there and saw it first hand. My momma told me to believe only half of what you see, and none of what you hear, and that works well for me. I dare to be different by choice not by societies version of reality, I have my own version thanks!

Because most people with evil minds are indeed weak, only those who hold a very strong mind are capable to follow good. There is plenty of fun in good. Some people only experience pleasures because temptation is bigger than their brains and they do things they know it might hurt others but they can't hold their horses and do them regardless of whatever consequences arise. It's easier to do evil because there are a lot of weakness out there.

Depends on your nature, I guess. I find it much easier to take the good path. But I know that a little evil is needed.

cuz eveil is away from God and the way to reach God is very difficult and needs a lot of dedication and sacrifice.

Water goes down easy but when you want it to go up, you have to put a lot of pressure.

Try to do good only..it's very difficult to start with but is extremely easy once you get used to it.

Good Luck.
