King James got around 80 - 90 scholars to translate the bible from Greek and Hebrew the best that was possible . They did a very good job and it was finished in 1611. It was written when English grammar was at it's best .

The King James version of the Bible grew to become into sanctioned by utilizing Prince James, King of britain, in 1611. it would be risk-free to anticipate that people who have been seen biblical scholars could have been those to do the translating. there is not any checklist that i understand of that shows that Shakespeare grew to become right into a biblical student.

Shakespeare didn't like Protestantism, was a devout catholc and was part of the "Lord Chamberlin's Men", I don't think that's the king.

I think he connotated his disdain for religious reform (out with catholic, in with protestant) in "A Mid-Summer Night's Dream", saying "straying from true religion" or something like that that Demetrius said....

Well did Shakespeare know Hebrew or Greek?

If he did that might be a valid question.

I don't believe so. He did live in the right time. But he would have been old.
