Man, since the dawn of time, has eaten meat. Our teeth are sharp because we are carnivores. So, why do SOME vegitarians think that animals such as cows and pigs should dont be eaten because its supposedly cruel? Not eating meat isnt going to stop others from doing it, the raw meat will still sit on the shelves regardless if someone eats it or not, so why think you are saving animals? Now, lets all chow down on a Steak Dinner!!! YUM!

You've seen it. At the mall or at the movies.

Like while you're watching the movies, you hear a black person giving play-play commentary:
"Damn n!gga, don't let that muthaf*cka go inside that house! Oh dayyyummm -- you alright n!gga, you alright, just brush that dirt off yo shouldas!!! Ain't no thang but a chicken wang! AHHHHHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA no he didn't!!!"

Or answering the cellphone in the theaters:

"*Ring* (top 20 hiphop ringtone)
Yeah, whattup?
Naw, we at the movies.
Yeah.
Just me, Tyrone, Dayshawn and them.
Aiight.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah n!gga.
Aiight.
Uh-huh.
Coo.
Yeah we gon' be there.
No doubt.
Aiight coo.
Peace. Late."

And that may go on for a good 5 minutes.

At my college certain blacks sit in a section of campus and just get loud and sometimes make fun of people's clothes as they walk by.

Why do you tend to see black people act loud and rude in public?
And yes, I know any race can act ignorant, but it seems to be more pronounced with
blac

Here in Virginia it will be linked to our drivers license as it will be in most all states, I hear that it will have a RFID chip in it so that the Government can track you. I know that I for one will not accept it, as for most of the people I know that has read up on it and know what it means to losing your libertys.
I think that Big Brother has gone to far this time, what do you think? You can google or yahoo the Real ID Act and read up on it.

I have a property that I am renting to Section 8 tenant. I am trying to sell the property because I am tired of being a landlord. My tenant is being so uncoorperative because she doesn't really want to move so now she is trying to make it difficult for my agent to even show the property. I told her to make it fair to her, that my agent would set the lockbox to only show between the hours of 11am-7pm everyday. Today I got a call and a buyer who really wants to see it at 9:30am on Saturday because she is flying in from another state to view 5 properties and mine is at the top of her list. When I called my tenant to tell her that someone will be by at 9:30 she said, no that is not the time we agreed on. I thought you said no one can come until 11am! She wont let me show my own darn house! Does she have the right to do this? I am trying to sell my house so what rights do I have as a landlord? I'm in Georgia

I've seen a few questions claiming that men have more power than women. This is sometimes claimed to be a result of discrimination, sometimes a result of society, sometimes a result of history...

Whatever the cause, my question is simple: What can people (particularly the average individual) do to make it so that women and ethnic minorities have an equal opportunity to hold a position of power in society?

My fiancé and I have been together for almost 2 years.Right after we moved in together I got pregnant and its been rough ever since.Anyway, since I have met him he lies over the dumbest things. I mean things I would probably be aggravated at if he told me, but when I find out after the fact I get really pissed off that he lied or tried to cover up certain things. We have had many discussions on this and he keeps saying he won't lie anymore but he does!Example, he lies over spending $, it's not usually a lot, but he won't give me receipts b/c he doesn't want to tell me he spent it, and I'll find out when I'm going through the bank statements. Or he'll lie about smoking (he's trying to quit)Our relationship is in enough trouble as it is. I don't need him lying over DUMB stuff like this and I don't know what to do! he says he thinks it's better to lie if it will keep a fight from taking place, but what if he starts lying about bigger things?!Am I being stupid to worry about his behavior?

What would be the best type of fruit tree for me to plant? I want something that is going to grow well here, as well as yield lots of fruit. Please help.

People on the political left have a certain set of opinions, just as people do in other parts of the ideological spectrum, is not surprising. What is surprising, however, is how often the opinions of those on the left are accompanied by hostility and even hatred.

Particular issues can arouse passions here and there for anyone with any political views. But, for many on the left, indignation is not a sometime thing. It is a way of life.

How often have you seen conservatives or libertarians take to the streets, shouting angry slogans? How often have conservative students on campus shouted down a visiting speaker or rioted to prevent the visitor from speaking at all?

The source of the anger of liberals, "progressives" or radicals is by no means readily apparent. The targets of their anger have included people who are non-confrontational or even genial, such as Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush.

It is hard to think of a time when Karl Rove or Dick Cheney has even raised his voice but they are hated like the devil incarnate.

There doesn't even have to be any identifiable individual to arouse the ire of the left. "Tax cuts for the rich" is more than a political slogan. It is incitement to anger.

All sorts of people can have all sorts of beliefs about what tax rates are best from various points of view. But how can people work themselves into lather over the fact that some taxpayers are able to keep more of the money they earned, instead of turning it over to politicians to dispense in ways calculated to get themselves re-elected?

The angry left has no time to spend even considering the argument that what they call "tax cuts for the rich" are in fact tax cuts for the economy.

Nor is the idea new that tax cuts can sometimes spur economic growth, resulting in more jobs for workers and higher earnings for business, leading to more tax revenue for the government.

A highly regarded economist once observed that "taxation may be so high as to defeat its object," so that sometimes "a reduction of taxation will run a better chance, than an increase, of balancing the Budget."

Who said that? Milton Friedman? Arthur Laffer? No. It was said in 1933 by John Maynard Keynes, a liberal icon.

Lower tax rates have led to higher tax revenues many times, both before and since Keynes' statement -- the Kennedy tax cuts in the 1960s, the Reagan tax cuts in the 1980s, and the recent Bush tax cuts that have led to record high tax revenues this April.

Budget deficits have often resulted from runaway spending but seldom from reduced tax rates.

Those on the other side may have different arguments. However, the question here is not why the left has different arguments, but why there is such anger.

Often it is an exercise in futility even to seek to find a principle behind the anger. For example, the left's obsession with the high incomes of corporate executives never seems to extend to equally high -- or higher -- incomes of professional athletes, entertainers, or best-selling authors like Danielle Steel.

If the reason for the anger is a feeling that corporate CEOs are overpaid for their contributions, then there should be even more anger at people who get even more money for doing absolutely nothing, because they have inherited fortunes.

Yet how often has the left gotten worked up into high dudgeon over those who inherited the Rockefeller, Roosevelt or Kennedy fortunes? Even spoiled heirs like Paris Hilton don't really seem to set them off.

If it is hard to find a principle behind what angers the left, it is not equally hard to find an attitude.

Their greatest anger seems to be directed at people and things that thwart or undermine the social vision of the left, the political melodrama starring the left as saviors of the poor, the environment, and other busybody tasks that they have taken on.

It seems to be the threat to their egos that they hate. And nothing is more of a threat to their desire to run other people's lives than the free market and its defenders.

I feel that she should have been punished for what she did but if the Sheriff released her to go home on house arrest why did she have to be made a spectacle of and be ordered to attend court again! i mean she was told she could do it telephonically but then it allchanged and they went to pick her up, put handcuffs on her and then drove her to the courts, only to be reassigned again but this time to a full and original jail time, igonoring the time she has already done!!! I don't understand why they felt the need to make an example out of her, it's not like she asked to leave,it was a deal her lawyesr and the Sheriff's department made. She just did as she was told! It's not fair to punish her more just because of who she is, ordinary people don't get such long sentences for driving offenses. You can even look at other famous people, Lindsay Lohan, George Michael...they never went to jail! What about Brandy who actually caused an accident that killed a woman? I'm really angry
