LOL your question made me laugh because my coworker makes a tshirt and hat out of garbage bags when it rains!!!!! I wish i was kidding but i'm not!

Yes. I have worn a garbage bag as an emergency raincoat. It beats getting soaked.

what do you mean if you had to? maybe if i was about to die from frostbite if i didnt. but otherwise i think vests are ugly anyway.
