I feel that she should have been punished for what she did but if the Sheriff released her to go home on house arrest why did she have to be made a spectacle of and be ordered to attend court again! i mean she was told she could do it telephonically but then it allchanged and they went to pick her up, put handcuffs on her and then drove her to the courts, only to be reassigned again but this time to a full and original jail time, igonoring the time she has already done!!! I don't understand why they felt the need to make an example out of her, it's not like she asked to leave,it was a deal her lawyesr and the Sheriff's department made. She just did as she was told! It's not fair to punish her more just because of who she is, ordinary people don't get such long sentences for driving offenses. You can even look at other famous people, Lindsay Lohan, George Michael...they never went to jail! What about Brandy who actually caused an accident that killed a woman? I'm really angry

I feel you are all so jealous and judgemental!!! I think this is what has gone wrong with that country! I don't see why she, just because she is a celeb should get any worse treatment than any one else. I know that a normal oerson owuld only get 30 day or less or a fine for the same issues. what's worng with everyone, so angry these days, chill out! Take a holiday....ummm, sorry you can't afford it?

I think I'd like to see them make a spectacle of the sheriff who released her, but you know how that goes. The police never get in trouble.

Firstly, she persistently drove after being banned for drink-driving. Would you want her on the road at the same time as your mum walked home?
The sheriff who freed her went against the orders of the judge, and let's not forget, she had already had her sentence reduced.
I feel the sheriff involved was swayed by her "celebrity" and/or money and this in turn made the sentencing judge look ineffective. He sentenced her and he was right to expect that sentence to be carried out.
The fact that she now has to serve the full 45 days may teach her that you can't buy your way out of everything and you're not untouchable because you're rich.
If she had shown any real remorse I would sympathise with her but on the evening she booked herself into jail she went to a party first.
She needs a bit of a reality slap. I'm sorry, but she does.
She is a drink-driver. Would you feel sorry for anyone else who did that?

Well let me asked you Do you want to wait until Paris kills someone to do something about it?? And with your statement you proved there is favoritism for the rich and famous. I do agree what Sheriff Lee Baca did was wrong and she paid for the consequences but she was the one driving and it was not her first time. Please how many breaks do you need?? Also the medical condition what a joke! Of course you will have a mental breakdown if you go to jail. She just needed to be treated by their doctors. I just saw the press released and they are saying she did not mentioned her medical condition. If she doesn't say what she has how can they treat her for it?? I dont think she was treated unfairly. If it was you the one in her situation you will be in JAIL. Simple. If you want to make a statement look at OJ he killed two people and he never went to jail. Money buys the law !!! If you have money you will get away with it. We just saw an example with what Lee Baca did.

She should have to serve time just like everyone else, what makes you think thats unfair the unfair part is that she still isnt being treated like a normal person, she get her own little cell in a protected little place while other "normal" people have to be thrown in with the crowd. She is still getting "celebrity treatment" as far as im concerned she isnt ant better than anyone else just because she has more money, and makes a rediculous spectacle of herself, her love life her sexlife and her inaability to get along with others she did this to herself grow up!

Well, one problem that she has is that she comes across so poorly as a person, and has no good qualities to balance her privileges. She does not even seem like a good friend, or act her age (she is 26, for heaven's sake!) or do anything even slightly commendable. So people do not want to cut her any slack.

I think it is all totally out of hand and the yanking her back and forth might backfire as people might begin to feel sorry for this person who committed a crime and cannot seem to quietly, maturely take her punishment. Etc etc.

I think she is extremely tiresome and I fear that she will twist everything into a poor-me scenario involving tiresome masses of attention given to her, huge money-making opportunities that she does not deserve, and nothing worthwhile learned from her experiences.

Ugh. She is just way too annoying and I don't even want to think about her any more!

Well, she's finally been treated fairly now, having been picked up and brought back to court, and given that sentence.

C'mon! It's only 45 DAYS. Not 45 YEARS, after all.
She broke the law. She got a second chance with that probation, and she broke that, too.......TWICE! Clearly, she wasn't learning anything by others being lenient.

Would you like to see Paris walk, and then kill someone, too? Get real. It was just time that someone taught her she needs to be held accountable.

She was treated more than fairly - just cos she's a Hilton doesnt mean she's above the law & throwing a wobbly & crying for Mommy in court doesnt make her a better person - it just makes her look like a spoilt little brat.

She did the crime she should do the time like anyone else!

The sheriff had no right to release her ...there was a court order.
Do you think if someone else in jail plays a few sexual favors to turn a sheriff on that they should be released too.
Paris is a whiny snot nose ****.
Bottom line.

Are you serious?? At least she is guilty of her crime. Think about all of the innocent people in jail that could not afford a decent defense lawyer.

Paris eats, *hits and sleeps just like everyone else and should be accountable just like everyone else.
