I always take my Bible with me when traveling. Recently I was in a Hotel in Costa Rica that did not have Bibles. The owners were sodomites and I think they could sense our sadness of their sin . We ( my family and I) offered to supply each of their rooms with a Bible st no cost to them. They never accepted. So sad ,what a pity!!!

I've read most of it and to tell you the truth, it scares me that people believe the events in it.
This book says there was a talking snake and a talking burning bush. That a benevolent god stopped the earth's rotation without burning it up, so a pack of soldiers could have extra daylight to finish chopping up their enemies, and that includes women and children.
Can you picture it? " Hey Joshua, I want you to go down to the land of Canaan and slaughter everything that that sucks in a breath....and Josh, don't forget the kids. I want you to chop up the kids".
Or a man was swallowed by a whale, stayed in it's belly for three days, then the whale upchucks him on a shoreline and he's still alive!
I don't mean to be so critical, but all of the above IS in the book you want me to concentrate on.
There is enough fear and attrocities present in our world today and I believe humans can find love and peace without resorting to reading the bible. This book has caused more wars, torture, mayhem and misery than anything else in human history.

If the non -Christians and the Christians alike are staying in the HILTON...,Paris's Daddy took out the Bible, and replaced it with a book about HIS OWN financial success!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Really, recently I stayed in the HILTON GARDENS in Wourster Massachusetts. AWFUL! Crashed the roof of my van in the parking Garage, Did not glue the Wall to wall carpets in the elevators, and took out the Gideons Bible in the room and replaced it with the HILTON SUCCESS STORY Auto- Biography.
BUT, it seem to me if He had taught His Daughter Bible Principles instead. She ,Paris would not have been doing time in a local jail.
SO, It the HILTON'S ARE LISTENING (not) Try re- introducing the Bible into your Hotels, and YOU own lives!!!!!!!!!!

Nope. I'm in my office at home with a 20lb cat on my lap. The only bible within reach is a Koine, and I've read it several times, usually to try to figure out where Christians come up with stuff...

I think they make it up.

I'm not moving. I have a 20lb predatory WORKING cat on my lap. I don't want to offend for no good reason.

And stop making me chuckle! It bothers Socks!

If the coaching of Buddha have been there fairly of a bible then he became in a rustic or portion of a rustic it fairly is predominantly Buddhist. The logical question turns into, if he became so indignant via the classes of Buddha even being in his room that he stole it and destroyed it then why did he pass to that united states for trip? That isn't sensible. the two he became yanking your chain or you're yanking ours.

Nope, I'm at home. I've read the Bible, thanks. I don't recall most of it, but I DID manage to read the entire thing. I do forget bits of theology here and there. That's why I ask questions pertaining to Christian belief.

I agree. Nothing will reinforce a non-Christian stance better than reading that vile book.

Because we're already read it. In my case quite a few times. It's good to read the mythology of your ancestors.
