do you think it will be before gas prices go up ? Since they are evacuating today and closing down operations, I'd say by this afternoon, the price of gas already in the ground and uneffected by all this should go up at least a nickel per gallon. Your projection ?

We live near Cleveland, Ohio and want to travel. We can't take a lot of time away from work so would only be able to plan small, weekend trips. Anyone have suggestions of nearby places of interests to visit (other states?) that aren't too expensive?

But people from foreign countries, can come here illegally,..get on the welfare rolls, and we welcome them with open arms..this is NOT fair to people who did at one time pay taxes. and I don't mind if MY taxes help poor families out here..but why does the government go after American families, for fraud on Welfare, and ignore the fact that the Illegals who have crawled up here, ...get all the benifits, and are criminals

I think so. Nothing looks more ridiculous than a guy with that thing around his ear.

I don't see too many women with those. I guess, in that regard, women tend to be a little smarter than men in terms of understanding what makes a person look silly etc.

If it was a white guy who had said "Hispanics are easier to control", would the media have responded differently?

Why did one reporter excuse him by saying that it was "ok for Gary Sheffield to make that remark, because hes always been known to spout off at the mouth and besides, theres a little bit of truth to it anyway".

If that was the case, then Imus should have gotten away with his remark because hes always been known to spout off at the mouth.

Where are all the Hispanics out there? Why aren't you rising up and tryint to get Gary Sheffield fired or suspended?

Isn't this the CLEAREST example of media bias that we have seen this year?

Often in questions about "stiffening" caps, the answers include recommendations that warning signs are posted whenever an audio system includes a capacitor. I don't understand why capacitors are thought to be more dangerous than batteries. Even lawsuit-wary car manufacturers don't post warning notices about battery voltage, because the voltage levels in a standard automotive battery aren't considered to be dangerous to humans. A capacitor can't reach a higher charge than the electrical system it's connected to, and it doesn't store nearly as much power as a battery. So why is a capacitor in a car audio system considered dangerous?

Is this where the Gospel writers got the idea for the story?

Vespasian is also said to have cured a leper.

It seems to me that the individual Gospel stories were cobbled together from the Flavian household, especially the stories of Josephus Flavius, Wars of The Jews and Antiquities of the Jews.

In one story from Josephus, three men are crucified. Josephus pleads with Titus to spare them. Titus allows it and Josephus takes the three down from the crucifixes. One of them survives, one of only two people known to have survived crucifixion, and I'm not including the fictional Jesus.

The story appears to be the inspiration for the Joseph of Arimathea sequence in the Gospels.

Thoughts?

I guess the war on terror ain't enough for Bush?

Or maybe since his war in Iraq has been such a disaster he needs something like a good old fashioned Cold War that the US military knows how to handle very well?

Answer me this: Why should I not be allowed to end my suffering if I am sick and unable to get well? It's my life right, so why shouldn't I be allowed to chose the way it will end?

I have not had sex in a long time, and I've got back really tight again. Well, the other night me and my boyfriend tried to have sex and we can't. He's hard, and then when he tries to put it in me i'm so tight it hurts him, and he goes limp again.

He told me it's got nothing to do with me. I mean, that i turn him on and everything, but something seems not normal about this. I'm 20, and he's 31, but I dont' think it should make any difference. We love each other, but could his age have any thing to do with this. Or is there something I don't know. Please help me out here. And none of those "dont' have sex untill your married" notes please, thanks

I started a new running program called From Couch to 5k. It is designed to build you up to running 3 miles over a period of a couple months.

I ran on Monday and I stretched first but I think I might have overstretched my calves because it hurts just to walk. (The calves fell 'short' for lack of a better term. They don't hurt normally but when they stretch even a little its really tight and painful) Should I push thorugh it and run again today like the program says, or is this something I should let heal some first. I don't want to take a break so early in the program (I have only done it for about a week). But I don't want to make it worse either. I still need to be able to go to work after my run. Any solutions.

10: 3x^2 + 4x + 3 = 0

11: Solve by using the quadratic formula.
2x^2 + 4x = -1

12: x^2 + 2x + 3 = 0

13: -2x^2 + 3x + 3 = 0

14: 2x(x + 2) = 5

15: Use the discriminant to determine the nature of the roots:
x^2 = 13x - 36
