I guess the war on terror ain't enough for Bush?

Or maybe since his war in Iraq has been such a disaster he needs something like a good old fashioned Cold War that the US military knows how to handle very well?

He's not, Russian is no where near the country they were in the 80's. Bush knows they are simply grandstanding in the international community. If you thought through these things you would understand them better.

No, but Putin is. The parallels between Putin's Russia and Hitler's Germany are astounding and Russia's aggression vs Georgia is nearly exact right up to the reasons (enclaves of Germans/Russians) Hitler used vs both Czechoslovakia and Poland. I think perhaps ol' W finally realized that Putin was charming the west in the same way that Hitler did and does not wish to go in history as the 21st century Chamberlain (although the French President seems to be following the Chamberlain example). BTW, McCain will likely take a harder line then President Bush has once he is elected - his background and military family give him better insight to these sorts of things then W has.

Well, it only took him 4 or 5 years to screw everything else up so why not set us back with the rest of the world another 20 years. Then when things go bad after we get a Dem as Prez, all the repubs can blame it on the Dem Prez just like they are trying to blame everything that has gone bad the past 7 years on the Dem Congress who have been in charge only 4 months. THE WORST WE HAVE EVER HAD. His Daddy wants to kick his a**. Bill Clinton had more sense in his little toe than Bush has in his whole body. But, as I got censored by Yahoo in the past for my bumper sticker, I won't go any further with this crap.
Bye Now and Have A nice Day yall.

I was just saying that. That man isn't going to stop till we are in a world war or he has the entire planets population all against us. He truly needs to be impeached. I'm really scared that he still has a year and a hlf to go before he is out. Alot of damage can be done and he just keeps getting away with it! He, by far, is the worst President this country has known.

Oh brother, why can't you people ever put the blame where it belongs? Putin is the only person responsible for these problems, just like the terrorists blowing each other up are responsible, not George Bush. When you make statements based purely on your hatred for another person, it makes your opinion sound uneducated.

I don't think you can use word "cool" next to the word "war", not even when you are talking about Cold War.

But I think I rather see us in cold war with Russians. I don’t recall that we lost so many lives during cold war that lasted for a long time.

It is cool isn't it? I can't wait for all the anti-soviet propaganda to reach mainstream...Charlie Sheen is reading a script for Red Dawn 2.
