Growing up, I always promised my cousin I would make her my maid of honor when I got married. However, lately I do not support her lifestyle. She doesn't have a job or car and does not seem to care about her future. She is also very immature. I love her to death, but I don't think she can handle the responsiblities of the job and she surely will not be able to afford the dress, shoes, etc.

At the same time, I have a best friend of 7 years. She is also friends with my cousin. She disapproves of her lifestyle too. We both agree she is headed down the wrong path. However, I really want her to be my maid of honor. She is responsible and someone I can rely on. She has a job and would be able to afford the dress with no problem.

Who should I pick? I'm worried about hurting my cousin's feelings, but she really isn't showing me her ability to be my maid of honor well. Also, I'm afarid of what our families will think. We are very close and I know my mother

My daughter is having an "end of school" party Friday night. My husband is a DJ so he will be playing music. We will have a limbo contest and hula hoop contest. What else would be fun to do. The party is from 4-9 pm. What kind of foods should I serve? She is expecting about 15 friends to come. Any ideas?

I saw this movie in the 70's I am pretty sure. I think Christopher Lee was in it and he was a vampire. The one scene that stands out is with a lady in a castle. She goes to this huge window and pulls back the curtains and he is spread across it and breaks through it to her.

I know my memory is vague on this acocunt, but I was a young child when I saw it.

Thanks to any help.

I will be a junior in the fall and I'm thinking about transferring to a large state university. I also applied to a small school close to home where I would commute. For the past two years, I have commuted to school from home.

I'm not sure if I would like dorm life. I am a quiet, reserved, good student who sometimes gets intimidated around large groups of people I don't know. I'm also a very independent person, especially when it comes to privacy. However, since almost all of my high school classmates moved into dorms, I kind of feel like I will miss out on the college experience if I just commute from home all four years.

Also, unlike most kids, I don't have a problem living at home, where I get along with my parents and I am very comfortable there. I have two very close friends who live at home near me. I just don't know how much I will be missing out.

Any suggestions??

The company I work for pays holiday pay to certain full time employees and not to all full time employees. Isn't this considered discrimination? Who can I talk to about this?

I would love to start my own business and the right job for me would be a Personal Assistant (part-time that is) that will run your errands, do your laundry, type a letter, make a payment, pick up kids from school, do light cleaning, filing, etc...Im trying to brainstorm ideas as to what my rates should be, how should I charge them? (by the way these would be like temporary jobs where a family can hire me to run errands either everu other day in the morning, another family coud hire me to do their laundry at noon and fold their clothes before they get home from work etc ) HELP! Asnwers from past personal assistants would help so much!

As a follow up question to "Would you sacrifice your life to save 100 strangers?" My answer was no... because I need my life to give it to my loved ones everyday, to the passing stranger, to my co-worker by doing everyday sacrifices instead of a big flash for 100 strangers.
Any one else can relate?

For me it's "Sorry", by John Denver, makes me cry everytime I hear it. Brings me back to my childhood and a song that always makes me smile among the many is "Every Little Kiss" by Bruce Hornsby. What say you?

My best friend is getting divorced. Hes been trying to get divorced for the past year. They dont live together and he doesnt want anything to do with her. Well his soon to be x-wife passed by his house one time that we were having a gathering, saw me get off the vehicle and hug him. Then she took down my licence plates. She had an insider friend of hers at the sherrifs dept run my plates. The car is under my sisters name. When I found out ( that she had run my plates, I called her 2 tell her that he and I were just friends, but I never got ahold of her. I was getting calls 2 MY house from her number. I knew it was her bc she had my info (my address too) from the licence plates info. Well now she made a harrassment report that she got harrasing phone calls to her house from me. Only that she has my sisters name bc thats the licence plate info. Can she do something at me now since the order was in my sisters name? Oh and is it illegal to run someones licence plates for no reason? Thanks!

Atheism has spread like wildfire through Europe and Australia, something which can only be applauded. However, in recent times there has been Atheist organisations that have been created such as the Brights Movement. By becoming organised, does atheism not face the horrible possibility of becoming inflexible, dogmatic and narrow-minded? Is atheism in danger of becoming the very thing it is against?

My uncle has left a Registered Will leaving part of his wealth (in acknowledgement of my financial help - not recorded -) to me and the major portion to his adopted daughter. He died over a decade ago. In the Will there is a provision that THEY (meaning both and not one) can make changes in the Will if found suitable. The Will was hidden from me intentionally for years. Finally I told my Aunt that based on his letters to me I will claim my right to own the entire property. Immediately the Will was shown to me and I have taken Xerox copy of it. My Aunt lives with the adopted daughter and I understand that she is under pressure to rewrite the Will using the clause that changes can be made in the Will during their lifetime. Is this possible? When the term is used “We can change the will during our lifetime” how the only one living can alter the Will or rewrite it. Till my uncle’s death no change has taken place and the Registration Office has confirmed it. Please advise me.
