My father died this past week after battling pancreatic cancer. My husband and I are thinking about trying to have a baby. I would like to have a part of my father's name in the baby's name. His name was Rick Alan (1st and middle name). If we have a boy, my decision is simple. If it's a girl, I'm not sure how to incorporate my father's name into her name. To use Alan, I thought about Alana. Any other ideas? Thank you.

Did anyone else read in the news that another Holocaust diary has emerged, one from a 14 year old Polish girl named Rutka Laskier? For all the inhospitable and horrible things people do to one another even today, it really bothered me to read some of the things detailed in that diary. I guess evil has been raising its ugly head for many years.

So my question is this: People of the day turned a blind eye to those Nazi butchers and allowed the horrors to continue. Have we learned our lessons, and what things can/should we do as common people to keep this type of evil from gaining a foothold again on humanity?

I know you can't answer the question, but I'd really like to hear your comments.

Not an ugly girl, not religious, got lots of friends and a good family---I live a pretty happy life. But I've been on exactly one date (a guy, high school) and I've never had sex. I've done "everything but" with guys, and 7th-grade level make out sessions with girls.

I get, well, not f-buddies, err, not sure what you'd call them. I do this semi-regularly (one girl, 5-6 guys over college) but we never go farther---I'm never pressured to, I pick 'em well, but I know the option is there.

I know I'm attracted to women, but unsure of the extent---I had no issue with hooking up with a girl, but I haven't found anyone to explore that further. Most girls run screaming from a "confused" girl like me. :)

I like guys from a distance, but once they respond I get vaguely nauseated and a little bored. I get interested again when they leave.

Anyone else been down this road? Am I totally crazy? Thanks guys!

in some financial ways and I always thought he was generous and the sweetest thing ever. I don't ask for anything purposely b/c I don't want him to think I want him for only help. I pay for some things.. lunches, things for kids. Now after a vicous fight he tells me I am spoiled and I need so much help. what the hell is he talking about? He threw in my face that he helped me that once financially. Now my feelings towards him has changed. I no longer think he is a sweet generous guy. I think hes a creep for bringin it up in that manner. How am I suppose to trust him when I do need something? I don;t want to feel scared to ask my own man for something if I need it.

I think children should be thought about sex at a young age.Currently,in our society sex has been kept as a secret.Because you have kept it as a secret the problem arises. For example,if you are having some secrets with your friends, the more you keep it as a secret, the more keen they will be to know what it is.In the society sex has been kept as a very big secret.Your parents know about sex, they have experienced sex,but if you ask them what sex is,they just ignore you and act as if they do not know anything about it.Why does a man want to see a women naked, why should he go to **** sites. The reason is from your very childhood what you see is everybody is covering their body with clothes. So the moment they start covering their body you are more eager to know what is there. This is the reason why men and women want to see each others naked body, they go to ****.Dont keep sex as a secret, cause your born out of sex.Teach every child what sex is,show him naked women or show her naked men then

Illustrate its place in the text (in other words, quote the line(s)/stanza where the element appears).

Interpret its persuasive function. How does the particular element work persuasively to underscore a key theme? Explain the thematic significance of the element. Develop probing and provocative interpretations. ANALYZE how the element contributes meaningfully to the text's motifs, concerns, obsessions, tensions, etc.

For My Daughter
David Ignatow
When I die choose a star
and name it after me
that you may know
I have not abandoned
or forgotten you.
You were such a star to me,
following you through birth
and childhood, my hand
in your hand.

When I die
choose a star and name it
after me so that I may shine
down on you, until you join
me in darkness and silence
together.

My boyfriend and I have at least 3-4 black tie weddings that we currently know of that we will be going to in the next 2 years, plus there may be a black tie Bar Mitzvah as well. Ther first wedding is in September. We plan to get married by 2009. Would it be financially better for him to buy a tux now or wait until our wedding is closer?

Also what is the average starting price for a tuxedo?

1. Exactly what equipment I will need to purchase and how to configure?
2. Which brand do I go for?
3. What will be the cost of wired and wireless options?
I am in US.
