For example, regardless of how people have voted in the referendum and plebiscites (which, by the way, the majority has voted for "decolonizing options" in the last two plebiscites), isn't it unfair and undemocratic that an individual that is a U.S. citizen is stripped from his right to vote in his national government just because he chooses to live in Puerto Rico (while if he lived in France, he could vote for his President and for his Representatives and Senators in Congress)? Why are we preaching democracy in the international arena while being hypocritical at home, or that's what it seems like, doesn't it?

ISN'T THIS LIKE SUPPORTING SLAVERY JUST BECAUSE WE MAKE BELIEVE THAT THE DEPENDANT SLAVES REALLY PREFER TO BE SLAVES, BECAUSE "THEY HAVE IT GOOD, AND WE HAVE THE 'WHITE MAN'S BURDEN' OF FEEDING THEM FOR FREE?

ISN'T THAT THE WORSE OF AMERICA, ISN'T THAT THE OPPOSITE OF WHAT WE FOUGHT FOR IN THE WAR OF INDEPENDENCE, IN THE REVOLUTION OF 1776?

WHAT HAVE WE DONE, AMERICA?

What is the salary equivalent for $20 an hour, $25, an hour, $30 an hour, and $35 an hour?

I'm pretty sure it isn't as obvious as (x amount per hour)*(x hours per week)*(52 weeks) because we obviously don't work 52 weeks a year. There are forced vacations (christmas, thanksgiving, july 4th, etc), as long as personal vacations and sick days.

3 people go to a hotel and each paid $10 for the rent. The landlord decided to give back $5 and tells his son to give the $5 back. But the son steals $2 and returned $3 ($1 each) to the 3 people. So each person paid $9*3=$27...and the son stole $2, making $27+$2=$29, but they paid $30 in the beginning. What happened?

Do you really think her behaviors are that different than most other 20 year olds? When I was living on a college campus it sure didn't seem that way and I even had good parents. So what's the big deal? Why is this at all interesting instead of expected?

Britney Spears going crazy was amusing, but some actress acting her age? Come on. The only amusing part is that people read it up like it's not happening with the 20 year old pre-med student at the local uni.

I really can't understand why the electoral college is still in place. It failed us in electing Bush by him not winning the popular vote, and after so many years why is it still in place? It was originally put in place because most Americans at the time were not intellegent enough to make the choice between which person was the better to elect and also because at the time elections were not something that broadcast over mass-media like it is today.

But seriously why is this still in place? Do you think that when the next president is elected they will try to remove it? Or do you think another Bush will come along to screw up our country even more?

for their belief that it is keeping our country safe, where would all the tax revenue come from to support the troops and all of their little entittlement socialist programs?

I ask this because libs believe YOU MUST fight in the war if you back our troops and our reasons for being there. Right now the military is all volunteer, there has not been a call for the draft so obviously the military believes there is plenty coming in from the recruitment pools.

I know there are plenty of liberals as well as conservatives that believe we should secure our borders. I am not sure I saw every liberal or conservative pick up and go down to the border to stand gaurd. Does this mean you really can't support it? or should I yell at you and call you a coward for not going down to Texas or Arizona or California or New Mexico to stand gaurd?
